I've never been a Big Al fan, but the more and more I watch him the less and less I get what's so drastically different between him and LMA.

Even with my dislike of Al, I thought it was a good signing just because it filled such a desperate need. I never thought he'd ball out like this.

Credit the Heat team defense and putting pressure and taking the Suns completely out of their offense, especially in the 4th.

Two huge plays on back-to-back possessions by James, and Bosh hits a key 3-pointer. If Bosh can consistently do that in the playoffs, Miami should still very much be feared.

They're the 2x defending champs, one of the best records in the league with the best player in the world. The fear has been there and will continue to be there.

I'm not saying they shouldn't be. But Miami has really struggled to find a consistent No. 2 scorer the last two posteasons, and Bosh finding his range as an open 3-point jumper in the playoffs would be a deadly weapon. With Wade struggling as much as he has this season, Bosh is going to be be shouldered with picking up the slack. This could really be his chance to shine in the spotlight.

Portland played a brutal game and only lost by 3. I think Durant turns the ball over quite a bit it's one of his flaws. He had 8 turnovers tonight those 8 turnovers helped keep Portland in the game, which really should have been a blowout.

Durant with an off game, only 2 assists.

I don't know if you just checked the box score or watched the game, but he only had 2 assists because that's the way the Blazers played defense tonight. They didn't bite on pick and rolls and were content with just letting Durant shoot and beat them. So he dropped 36 and they won.

Any other player in the NBA goes 15-28 and 5-5 FT and it's a good game.

This is true but also nobody hit a ****ing shot on OKC besides KD. Ibaka was awful, Jackson was ISO and made no jumpers, sefo sucked.

Ibaka and Sefo were non factors because Portland wouldn't double Durant. When you double down on Durant he passes to open Ibaka and Sefo, but Portland refused. They wouldn't budge all game.

And Since Scotty Brooks is a shittty coach he has no idea how to use a PG in his own offensive system so Jackson playing an ISO game is to be expected.

Big loss for the Lakers here. Now they will have an incredibly hard schedule from here on in and eventually the Kings and Magic will roll past us too!

This horrible thought keeps creeping into my mind. That the Lakers will somehow luck into the top couple of picks and get Embiid, Parker or Wiggins, then use the cap space left over from Gasol (and possibly a retiring Nash) to add more quality players, but somehow have enough cap room to add Lebron in 2015. Then, a re-invigorated Kobe decides to stick around at a discount for a few more years as Lebron, another freakishly talented young player and pretty much any other quality veteran win multiple titles with the Lakers.

If this happens, there is a 99 percent chance I'll have committed suicide in the next 5-10 years.

They are not a team that can win in other ways if their jumpers aren't falling. They are last in forcing turnovers, top 3 worst defense in the league, rely on low % long two's, have no backup center, etc.

Every good team can win in other ways, they cannot. I expect a first round exit regardless of who they play.

I disagree, I think they'd be able to beat multiple teams. I don't see them winning a championship, but I think they're better than an automatic first doing exit.
