Mods, please merge with blahblahyoutoo thread, about 3rd best player in the leauge (crazy *** poster name). He didn't add a poll, so please add this poll.

Who would Gm's around the league pick to build their team around (2yr window)... This will give us insight on who probably is the 3rd best player in the league.

CP3. Aldridge is a ridiculous option on this poll by the way.

I'll go with CP3, but I've got no problem with anyone voting Curry.

After that comes Love/Blake/George imo

Agreed, but no more so than Cousins

I'm gonna go with Curry...he's leading all PGs in pts and assists.

CP3 would be my answer usually but he's missed so much time this season.

Curry is unguardable

Cp3 I would say but George is the one who is going to hand Lebron his ticket out of Miami this year.

Chris Paul keeps all those wings and bigs organized on a contender, and he's a great scorer and defender.

If we're going off this current season it goes...

1. KD
2. Lebron
3. CP3

CP3 is hurt too often this year. I'm going with KLove. Video game numbers on the reg.

cp3s team just dominated the nba for 2 months without him, take melo of the knicks they may not win a game. Paul George has become the most overrated player in the nba

George because of the best team record is now belonged to Pacers and PG is the leader of it,with tremendous numbers and an impressive mentality of leadship

It's still CP3, but the gap is minuscule compared to what it used to be. There are a lot of players that can make a case for being #3.

My vote is for Stephen Curry.

I'm surprised CP3 is getting this many votes based of what his team did without him , I guess it's based off past accomplishments because I don't see how Paul has had a better season than Curry . He's still in the top 4 or 5 but his injuries and team success should be factored which I don't think most of y'all did . Weighting scale should be leaning towards curry this first half of the season .

It's Paul. He's earned a lock for the third spot at this point in his career. You could make a case for Curry, Love and maybe 2-3 other guys, but I think Paul is a pretty clear answer. Some of the guys in this poll are a bit of a reach.

I don't think any player is a lock without earning year after year . I think KD has played like the best player in the league this year but next year Lebron can easily take that spot back .

Truly, I see no reason why Lebron would take the top spot back.

This is Durant's league now.

Its a what have you done for me lately world and Blake is currently having the best stretch of his career, during that span he has the 3rd highest PER in the league. Its gaining traction but I agree, its foolish to ignore the total picture but the evidence is building with every game.

CP3's team is better, Melo's team is worse. Thats all you've pointed out. PG may be overrated, but his defense is no joke.

If you're talking about a 2 year plan,and assuming everybody stays healthy,i'd take cp3.For 3 years+ Steph then AD.

Paul. How is Griffin getting any votes? Why shouldn't he?He is playing better than 80% of the list this year.He still has to prove himself in playoff basketball, but it's totally ok to pick him at the 3-7 spot right now.

With the current uptrend in plays, I would go with Curry. Believe it or not, he'll be much better than he is now in a couple of years.
