He was a beast last season, with 13 and 7 in 46%fg and 45%from 3pt line. I recall that he occasionally had some monster games like 20 and 20.
This season, he averages 10 and 6 but his FG %drops to 37% and his 3pt %is 28%.More importantly, his playing time is almost identical to last year 's
Do anyone know what happened to him ?

Injuries and I've noticed euro players who get big paychecks on bad teams get really complacent. IMO the rockets should go after him

July 12, 2012: Bucks re-sign forward Ersan Ilyasova to multi-year deal.

2011-2012 was his last good season. He's sucked since then.

Big pay = I'm good, no longer need to work on my game

his contract is 7.9m this year .
I doubt if the Rockets is still wanting a PF so bad since Jones has improved greatly and fit in the system automatically.
If you were a GM of Bucks , do you want Asik ?

Ers has always been a slow starter because he plays in Turkey during the summer. So it takes him a half of a season to get it going. Which really sucks. He also has been really banged up this season, nothing serious but alot of little nagging things that he has been trying to play through this season. Another thing is that hes learning a new offense. All while larry drew is always messing with rotations trying to find something that works. I think the biggest thing is that ersan can't really create for himself and he's had jennings and ellis to work the pick n pop with the last few seasons and we don't have anyone on this team that can create for others. Same reason oj mayo is struggling!

He plays for the bucks, think about it

His head got big because of the Dirk comparisons. The Bucks paid Sanders instead of Ellis. And they are loaded with SFs and PFs. Plus Brandon Knight is their starting PG.

I think anyone would decline in these circumstances. Plus he was never that good to begin with.

Why is there a thread about a single player from Wisconsin in the man NBA forum?

He was a beast with 13 & 7 and the occasional 20 & 10 game?

That doesn't seem all that beast like to me, sounds like an inconsistent player. The only thing that's happened is the coach took away some of his playing time.

We had guys on the Warriors board that wanted to trade David Lee AND Harrison Barnes for him.

He sucked last year too outside of like the final month of the season. The 20-20 stretch was 2 years back.

His 20 and 20 stretches were impressive

He's 26...

Yeah I know, he is listed at 26. But there were reports out there that he is actually 30.

This is the 3rd or 4th year in a row where his 1st half has been terrible. But he always has monster 2nd halves. The poster commenting on how he plays in Turkey over the summer may in fact have something to do with it. Not sure.
