Wow, not bad. Wall has pretty bad back issues and it was looking like he was going to pass, so that's a surprising one. This could be a great contest.

Good lineup, although I'd still like to see Nate Robinson, Paul George, LeBron James, Blake Griffin, Andre Igoudala and either J.R. or Josh Smith. It's also too bad that Derrick Rose and Russell Westbrook, two of the best dunking point guards in recent memory, are both unhealthy.

Why the hell is Lillard in it?

And which Barnes? Matt or Harrison?

Other than that I like the list.

I would like to have seen Anthony Davis or Lance Stephenson (if it must be a guard or SF) instead of Lillard.

I don't think Lillard's hops are much higher than mine.

And why don't we wait and see on Lillard. Give him a chance. I bet he surprises

I'm wondering how lillard is gonna do in this. I remember in the rookie sophomore game he tried to do a flashy dunk but ended up laying it up because he couldn't reach the rim. It wasn't even a complicated dunk either.

Quite surprised at lillard making it, would make more sense for him to be in the 3pt contest I'd say..

Surprised by Wall ? Wall is one of the most athletic PG's on the League . Idk about Lillard though , he's done some pretty basic dunks .

i know Wall is a great athlete but that doesnt mean anything when the majority of the NBA is a good/great athlete. Just saying i never seen anything from Wall that would make me want to see him in a dunk contest, same goes for Lillard. Im not agaisnt Wall being in it at all but i do hate the shorter guys like Nate bcuz people just love to see a little guy get up

i dont know. Nate took 15 attempts to do a between the legs dunk while Iggy put out 2 dunks that had not been done before

Lillard is setting the table!

giving himself the opportunity to be a household name pretty early into his career.

has anyone won the dunk contest and three point shootout in the same year?

BALLER R
02-06-2014, 04:50 PM
This is going to be between Ross and Wall. Some of you guys might need to do some research on John Wall if you don't think he can win this. Ross is the favourite to me because he's defending his title. Not to mention out of everyone I think Ross will have the most creative dunks. Ross has sneaky hops.

http://hangtime.blogs.nba.com/2014/02/06/all-star-saturday-gets-a-makeover/?ls=iref:nbahpt3a

How does everyone feel about this? I think its stupid...less hype, it should be about one person and the Saturday as a whole should name a winning conference IMO

Iguodala might be a little older, but he still belongs on the least. He's an athletic freak. I'd be willing to replace him or Lillard with John Wall, though.
