The 2014 NBA Draft might not be as deep as everyone once thought.

Bulls.com reporter Sam Smith writes that Duke small forward Jabari Parker might opt in favour of returning to the Blue Devils for his sophomore year instead of entering the draft:

And the growing view among NBA executives seems to be Jabari Parker will not leave Duke this year. Chicagoan Jahlil Okafor, a Parker friend and big man, is going to Duke next season. Parker is a bright young man with a strong family and the feeling is he understands both the importance of education and feels he owes Duke and the chance to have a great Duke team, which more than likely is the next two seasons. Plus, Parker has seen what staying in school has done for other greats compared with the tough starts for even stars like Kobe Bryant.

Parker, along with Kansas Jayhawks teammates Andrew Wiggins and Joel Embiid highlight the upcoming draft but if Parker returns to Duke and Wiggins doesn’t break out of his current slump, this year’s draft could become disappointing for some NBA teams."

If I am not mistaken we do have the Knicks 2015 pick and by the looks of their squad they might suck next year too.

We have their 2016 pick and even then, it's the lesser between both Denver/NY picks (a mid-first most likely).

Closing this up.
