It won't win dunk of the year and it'll probably be forgotten quickly but it was def a poster dunk.

people act like a trailing player who goes for the block doesn't qualify as getting dunked on

no it wasn't HILL on MOURNING/MUTOMBO or CARTER on whoever but it was a lot more than STARKS on JORDAN, and that got way way overrated by media/fans because it was the 'playoffs'(super media hyped regular season game)

he got dunked on because he went for the block, had he blocked it from behind the same people who said he didn't get dunked on would be screaming 'add another legendary chase down block' to BRON' resume

to me it works both ways, C. LEE also caught BRON sleeping before, if you play long enough and hustle a lot it will happen sooner or later

yea this is dunking on someone, not facial like I stated but dunking on someone comes in different forms/angles, sort of like shooting a 3pt shot or dunking ...if any defender shoots for a block on a dunk attempt and fails and the offensive player dunks the ball all in same stride then what do you call it? a whiffed block dunked on? I mean damn BRON is on his hip as he goes up, who would even think SESSIONS would have that type of ability in first place?

It's sad when a player gets dunked on and then it's treated negatively. This is what's wrong with you people. You want athletes to play the game to the best of their abilities but then you find every way to trash talk them when they get "dunked" on? It's a damn basketball game. Players will get crossed, dunked, and punched on.

Didn't a teenage Jordan Crawford dunk on a then 25 year LeBron at his Nike camp and it was so nasty the Nike censored it?

Aka lebron had them confiscate the tape. Which just made things worse for lebron when ppl found out.

This dunk was surprising. Didn't know sessions got up that quick. Of course lebron chews his mouthguard to hid his embarrassment to his fragile giant ego

How do you think Suns fans felt when Rose dunked on Dragic a few years ago :(

That is in fact getting dunked on. IMO the definition of getting dunked on is when a defender challenges a dunk and his defensive attempt comes up short. But where the term does get used incorrectly is when a player is standing somewhere in the vicinity of the hoop, doesnt challenge the dunk and a dunk is executed, but not when the defender is directly in the path of dunker and rim (that would still qualify as challenging), when the defender is off to the side a little. It gets used incorrectly a lot like that.

I wouldn't say it was a "dunk on LBJ" but it was definitely a poster. I'm more impressed that Sessions went up for the jam at all. Players try layups and LeBron ends up with a chase-down block. Really smart play by Sessions to throw it down, which is something we never see against LeBron in those situations.

getting "dunked on" is overrated.

a clean, solid block on a dunk attempt is much more impressive than dunking on someone. like how melo absolutely got his face stuffed by hibbert last post-season.

the dunker has all the advantage, and benefit of the calls.

Lmao yeah I remember when wade dunked on varajao every Heat fan was sure to explain that varajaos attempt to block the dunk was very noble and actually more impressive if he had got the block

Also get real. Like any of you have tried dunking on someone.. Blocking is definitely easier because you don't have to control a ball in your hand.

If Lebron was dunking the officials would have called an and one with that.
