I know it's only one game, but a huge step for Oden. He has not played a regular season game since 2009. He actually played well, as well.

Nah he played 4 minutes in the 2nd quarter, and then the first 4 minutes of the second half

They were getting blown. Definitely garbage time.

Garbage time is when a team has no shot of coming back. We came back and brought the game back to only a 9 point deficit at one point in the 2nd half, so I certainly wouldn't call it garbage time.

Regardless, it was a big step for a guy that hadn't played a meaningful minute for 4 years

Not really. Game was still very much in play from what I heard. He actually gave them a boost.

It was good to see Greg Oden play basketball again. I liked it when he caught the rebound with his hands and then dunked the basketball.

All we need him to be able to do is give us some minutes against Hibbert. Right now I think the Pacers are better than the Heat. But if they sign Bynum and get 10 minutes a night out of Oden, that will make all the difference.

uhh, no. although we were down big, he would've came in regardless of the score.

I hate that he is on the heat, but good for him. Skill wise he would be a top 10 Center in this league. Maybe even closer to the front. I watched his 4 minutes in the 1st half and kept waiting for him to crumble though. It is horrible for the players and the fans as well that we miss out on watching soo many quality big men because their bodies just can't handle it.

The minute he came in, Miami started their comeback.
If he can stay healthy, he'll get a nice incentive laden deal somewhere next season. Somewhere in the Bynum range probably.

Hope he can build on this. He was a beast at Ohio for the time he actually played.

It is nice seeing you post again. I like it when you type and click on submit.

Although I miss your "gobble gobble" trademark line.
