View Full Version : What are you willing to give up to trade for Lebron?

I'm bored and just thought of this right now. All HYPOTHETICAL folks..

What if for some reason, Riley has decided that he wants to trade Lebron and he is willing to listen to offers from all teams, what would give up from your team to get him? Or you can also create a convoluted 3-4 way trade. Be creative but somewhat realistic (although it would be hard, I know)

Remember, this is all for fun and games. Keep the trolling and flaming out. :)
Just humor a bored fella here

Unless you're Indy or OKC the answer should be 'anything they want'. Maybe SAS get a pass too, for loyalty and sentimentality reasons.

I would not trade Lebron for the moon if I have him on my team.

However, if I'm looking to acquire him I would offer any and all players that could match salaries, any and all draft picks available for trade, plus I would write the owner of the Heat a blank check.

you cant trade away consecutive picks,so that 2015 1st pick isn't legitimate

Lin, Parson, Jones, and our 2014-2016 1st round picks.

I would take... KD, Westbrook & Ibaka (as long as these 3 players are not apart of NBA = Entertainment crew, I'm down.)

Westbrook
Wade
KD
Bosh
Ibaka

Love, Rubio, and 3 first rounders.

From my team that is. Miami should laugh at that...

The only trade the Heat would even think about would be

Westbrook
Durant
Ibaka

There are no other trades that would even remotely spark Miami's interest or have any kind of payoff. Having said that, if I'm the Heat, I still wouldn't do that trade lol.

This thread should be filled with ridiculous, astronomical responses. I'll give a reasonable one.

From my team (Lakers), there is no trade that could be made for Lebron that is remotely fair. If i were to just pick randoms in a strait up trade:

PG
Hibbert
Hill
2 first rounders

KD
Bosh
Ibaka

This is probably the only trade you don't do for Lebron. But also the only trade that Miami would even think about.

Ill tell you who I wouldnt trade for Lebron. I think the whispers of "Mike James" can be heard...wait--what was that?

Thanks for the responses. Had some few laughs and I really loved it :)
If it was a trade that had to be done, I think the closest one would probably be Durant+Ibaka+Jackson or Lamb along with a couple of first rounders. I don't think any single team would have better assets to offer than OKC.

SeoulBeatz
12-26-2013, 07:07 PM
MCW, Nerlens Noel, Turner, Thad Young, Spence, and two future firsts.

In which case I would pass, not because I don't want Lebron, but our roster would be completely decimated and Lebron would literally have to drop 50 a night to keep us afloat surrounded by talent like Lavoy Allen, Tony Wroten, and Brandon Davies
