Did the Thunder know what they had when they let Harden go?

Reggie in 1st year with significant minutes (age 23):

25 MPG
48% FG
95% FT
12.3 PPG
4 RPG
3.5 APG

Per 36:
18/6/5 on 48%

Harden in 1st year with significant minutes (age 21):

27 MPG
44% FG
84% FT
12.2 PPG
3 RPG
2 APG

Per 36:
16/4/3 on 44%

Looks like reggie has him beat in ever category in the same number of minutes. I don't think Reggie has the star power Harden does and can never lead a team the way Harden does. However, I do think that keeping Harden would have pigeon holed him into the 16ppg role and we would never see this harden. Therefore, Reggie is Harden's equal for this team/role and it is one of the reasons that losing H and Martin has not effected this team at all.

And if anyone has watched any Thunder games this year, Reggie has been crazy clutch and has been fantastic at closing out games with KD/Russ.

you saw last year how good Jackson was. it's a no brainer, dude is really good.

now if okc/rockets meet in the playoffs, I wanna see Jackson run into harden's knees just like dumb Patrick Beverley did to westbrook

i've been saying i preferred Jackson to Bledsoe as the next good young PG. Gonna be hard for OKC to keep him when he hits FA

Who is Roberson?

I wanted the Suns to get Perry Jones over Kendall Marshall so bad. Ugh!

Roberson will most likely be the Thunders starting shooting guard next year in place of Thabo Sefolosha. If the kid can learn to consistently knock down threes he is going to be another Presti steal.

He'll never be Harden level.

I don't think he'll be any more than a 15 PPG scorer.

Regg Jack and Steve Adams are amazing depth players for the Thunder, hoping they trade away Perkins and have Adams start. That Tongan Kid is gonna be phenomenal.
