He haves the potential to become something great but he just haves to put the time and effort into it.

I still believe that he's just a late bloomer and that one day he'll become a dominant center

The problem is by the time his skill increases to an acceptable level it will be countered by the inevitable physical decline of his body. He's already 26 and only gets spot minutes, I don't see him being Dikembe at 32.

He looks much improved since when he was first drafted, prior he was slow to react to situations.

I think once Perkins leaves he's gonna take his minutes and become a defensive threat here in Okc. He's been very solid when he gets the minutes. But only time will tell

Some guys dont make a Dent in the NBA until they are late 20's. Ben Wallace and Reggie Evans are those kind of guys. With his size he will find a job even he uses just a fraction of what his potential was.

I also find this funny. Thabeet was our second biggest mistake on draft night. Trading Kevin Love for OJ Mayo tops the heap.
