We all know he was hungover..100k for some stinky booze sweat shoes
Being a ball boy pays, it seems.

After Michael Jordan's infamous 1997 Flu Game, where he scored 38 points while allegedly suffering from a severe case of food poisoning, he autographed his game-worn shoes and gave them to Utah Jazz ball boy Preston Truman.

Truman put the shoes up for auction and, according to ESPN, sold for $104,765 on Thursday, "shattering the record price paid for a pair of game-worn shoes in any sport."

He auctioned the shoes, he said, because "I just didn't see the point to something so cool and a part of NBA history sitting at my bank anymore." Replacing them in the bank with $100k seems like a good reason, too, though http://beta.thescore.com/nba/news/380184

I wonder what they will be worth 20-50 years down the road.

This is only surprising for those of you who don't know what "sneakerheads" are or that culture in general. It's absolutely ridiculous, but certain pairs of sneakers easily fetch thousands of dollars on ebay that are not game-worn, or autographed. Also, look up the term "hypebeast."
