G5 1973 NBA Finals - 23pts (9-16fg) 21reb 3a 2blk 3stl

On top of making it to the Finals his last season he:
Finished season 4th in MVP voting
Lead league in rebounding
Set still standing record for accuracy (shot 73% all season)
1st team all defense (and had DPOY existed - frontrunner for the award)

Was supposed to play in the ABA as a player coach in '74 but for legal/contract reasons was forced to sit out the season and decided to forgo basketball so no retirement fanfare when the dipper left the game. He had a lot of gas in the tank when he decided to leave the game.

Youtube has such a great collection of old NBA games, you can spend all day watching games from the 60s and 70s. Great post!
