This man is arguably a top point guard of all time, hes up there for most assist in history yet hes so underrated. He never even made the all star game:confused:

I think he's up there. I have always liked Millers game. He def doesn't get much credit for how good he has been his entire career.

Underrated? Yes, top PG? Not a chance in hell. Not top 10, not top 20.

Not of all time.. But he deserves to be in the HOF, and not many people realize this. His longevity is truly incredible. One of the NBA's greatest "iron-men." And then there is the his place on the all time assist ladder.. 10th all time.

He's underrated but he isn't close to being a top pg of all time

He's what Mark Jackson was really.

During his second stint now with the Nuggets he's played some of the worst defense I have ever seen.

I think Rod Strickland was an even more underrated PG than Andre Miller. 0 all star games for stickland as well, & I think he was better than Miller by a good amount

Really bad D, no shot

His post game is phenomenal to watch though, he will regularly post up 6'8"+ guys with ease its just a blast to watch

and he can throw lob passes like no other

i don't know about most, but i can't think of many who've received so little attention despite a pretty darn good career.

That’s a tough one…

I think a guy like Fat Lever could be on there. He made a couple all stars, but was one of the best all around players in the game in his prime. 5 year prime averaging 17 points, 7.5 boards, 7.5 assists, 2.5 steals. He made a couple all-star teams, but would miss them with a 20 point, 8 assist, 9 board a game year for example.
As for Andre, you hit it on the head. GREAT lob passer, and probably one of the best at pushing the ball up court and finding the open wing on the break. Awful shot, you just cringe when he takes that long three, and while a physical defender, even earlier in his career he wasn’t the best at staying in front of an opponent point guard. And once Melo left, he was easily the Nuggets best post up player with his back to the basket. I love watching his ugly old man game out there.

I don’t think he ever really deserved to be an all-star though. His best year (2001), I think Baron Davis, AI, and Kidd were the right choices.

Who?

Thorpe, Hornacek, Bobby Jones come to mind (among others) when I hear underrated.
