I don't see how you can't vote for the first guy to post a triple double in his first career start.

I'm no fantasy player but last night's numbers would have made more than a few fantasy junkies happy.

Lin put up 34 on 19 shots, it would have taken Kobe 30 and Westbrook 34.

Exercised my right to be a homer and vote for Afflalo, who probably has never been on this list ever before.

He was great.

Afflalo put up 36 on 15. Lin's passing might give him an edge, but the TOs might kill it again.

Why does Wroten have 5 votes? I don't think he had one of the 5-7 best games last night, not even close.

The weird obsession with reaching arbitrary numbers continues...

The fact that he was the first player since Oscar to record a triple double in his first career start may have a thing or two to do with it. Arbitrary or not its not only impressive but rare, much rarer than the games in which we saw from some of the other players receiving votes. Your beef should be with the fact that KD has zero votes and Afflalo has 4, despite the fact that KD had a better line.

I used to be jealous of Arron Afflalo.

Sure, but it's not the best line of the night. Historic? Sure. Unique, fun and rare? Sure.

But "best", no way. Not even close. He didn't have a better game than a lot of the guys on the list, regardless of him hitting those arbitrary number-10 benchmarks.

As for point 2, I disagree.

Kevin Durant: 33 points, 10 assists, 6 rebounds, 2 steals
Arron Affalo: 36 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists, 2 steals

2 more assists vs 3 more points...I'd probably give the nod to KD there. But 11-15 shooting vs 8-18 favors Afflalo significantly. 5 TOs vs. 4 TOs favors Afflalo again. Nit pick even more, and 4 fouls vs 2 fouls favors Afflalo again. Even more nit-picky, and perhaps irrelevant to a "best line" poll, Afflalo's team won.

Not saying this warrants a vote, but James Anderson was 12-16 to get his 34. Including 6-8 from three, and 6-6 at the free throw line.

Also means that 6.8% of his career points have come against the only other team to ever have him on their roster.

Kevin Love or Rubio. Did all of their work in 3 quarters.

I voted Rubio because im a homer and because it was his all time high in assists.

Why does everybbody have such a hard on for a triple-double?
If you add up Howards rebounds and assists, he got more than Wroten, not to mention SIX blocks and MORE points!
