The Jazz have had three chances to get their first win:
game two against the Suns
game five against the Celtics
game seven against the Raptors

They have back-to-back home games agaisnt sub-500 teams (Denver and NO), but I don't seem either of those teams losing to Utah, but I could be wrong.

So how bad of a start do you thin Utah will have? Will it be historic? Or just really bad?

The 2009/10 Nets set the record with 18 straight loses.

They need a Point Guard badly! When is Burke's return?

I think they could beat Denver tomorrow. Coming off a four game road trip, I'm thinking the home crowd may inspire energy and focus, but we'll see.

Why should they win? They have the opportunity to draft Wiggins. I'm pretty sure they don't mind losing!

I think they'll end up losing 16 straight games before they win their 1st vs. Phoenix.

Gotta say though. Utah knows how to tank the right way. Competitive games throughout then losing in the end.

we did the first 3 games. since then we have been getting dominated and have been by 20 in the 3rd quarter the past 4 games

I don't think Utah is tanking. Aren't they offering Hayward a lucrative contract after extending Favors?

they have literally no pg and burke is still out for a while and will likely suck for a bit plus hes a mid 1st round pick so wtf jazz no pg, it is one of the most obvious tank jobs in a while. they will be god awful this year. i mean being in the bottom 4 basically guarantees one of Parker, Randle, Exum or Wiggins. Anyone is a franchise player.

btw looking at our upcoming if we can't win on Wednesday vs the pelicans we probably go 0-16 because our schedule gets pretty brutal then we get 2 games vs the suns.

Fri, Nov 15 vs San Antonio 9:00 PM
Sat, Nov 16 @ Golden State 10:30 PM
Mon, Nov 18 vs Golden State 9:00 PM
Wed, Nov 20 @ New Orleans 8:00 PM
Fri, Nov 22 @ Dallas 8:30 PM
Sun, Nov 24 @ Oklahoma City 7:00 PM
Mon, Nov 25 vs Chicago
Fri, vs Phoenix
Sat, @ phoenix

We started off 0-8 last year too, Sucks but at least it's a good draft.

Can't really predict where the win will come from. It might come against a contender, Sports are funny like that.

there really isn't much going for utah right now. the FO stuck to their young guns, and for better or ill, we'll live with the consequences. as much as i don't like developing young players in a losing atmosphere, i think this increased playing time will be good for them. injuries on top of trusting unproven young players??? not a good recipe for immediate success.

We started off 0-8 last year too, Sucks but at least it's a good draft.

i have this attitude. tanking is not in utah's culture. we are trying to win games with what we have. there are many things the FO could have done if tanking was the intent, but it's hard to be 'competitive' while giving young players enough to evaluate them. burke isn't the savior of the jazz as a rookie, but trusting 2 career back-ups to carry 100% of the pg load is doing the jazz no favors. tanking means losing intentionally, and i just think the jazz are getting out-matched on a nightly basis.

Why should they win? They have the opportunity to draft Wiggins. I'm pretty sure they don't mind losing!

come on, this isn't golden state or sacramento. the worst team hasn't had the #1 pick in over 10 years. aiming for the worst record is not the way to build a good team.

Gotta say though. Utah knows how to tank the right way. Competitive games throughout then losing in the end.

we got the short end of the stick a few times in a season where we can't afford it. i am encouraged by a few of our showings, esp the okc game, and as a generally cup is half full kind of person there is nowhere to go but up. we've hit rock bottom as a franchise and we're just going to build on what positives there are.

it will probably be a home game. it could very well be vs the pelicans. i dunno, i'm slowly learning how to not pay attention to results. it's development we're after.

we lost to you guys by 3 at your place on a step back 3pt attempt from a guy shooting 33% . Also, burke and rush might be back then with marvin williams being close to full speed by then.

Dragic had his worst day in the game and we still won. Speaks volumes really. And we will also probably have Len back by then.

Denver will still have a better record by the end of the year. I ain't worried about nothing.

But really it took a total collapse by us in the last 16 minutes. I Don't get this comment what so ever. Especially when our 2 best half court guys are injured.

We didn't have our best player and our 5th overall pick.
