The pointlessness of this so early in the season is huge. But, assuming we admit to being overreactionary (otherwise why both doing this so early), why not include Brook Lopez?

Where is Lawson? He has 21,8,5...

FlashBolt
11-08-2013, 04:08 PM
Why is Howard on this list? He's not top 10. And Hibbert? This guy can't even pull down 10 points a game. Add Lillard and Monta as well. Also, George should be higher than Durant. There is no way Durant is second right now. He's been far too inefficient.

what a joke.

Paul and George should be 1/2 in whatever order. at the momen James and KD should be much lower on that list.

What is George doing better than James at? Nothing. And Klay should be here as well. I'm not even sure Curry is the best on that Warriors team. People talk about Curry's three point shooting, but I don't think Klay is far off. Insane shooting.

Winning :D.... Seriously though, he has currently been more valuable to his team than LeBron has. Nobody is saying he is better, just more valuable.

Idk what game you are watching but George has been better than Bron so far. We all know Lebron is the best player in the world. But so farthis season i think George is doing a better job compared to James.

they have even numbers and the Pacers are the only undefeated team in the league and James couldnt even lead his team to beat the Sixers.

From what I've seen, Chris Paul is the best player in the league so far. He's doing something that hasn't been done for a while; LeBron has put up LeBron numbers for a few years now, yet no PG has done what Paul is doing for a good few years.

Paul George. Indy is undefeated and he is a playing out of his ****ing gourd.

Chris Paul is the MVP of the league. Paul George is #2 and LeBron James is #3. In order to be a 5x league mvp, James has to surpass his previous season performances as he's set the bar high for himself. Plus, he now has plenty of help when Wade is slowly getting back to his old form.

Dwight Howard should not even be on this list. Chandler freakin Parsons is more valuable to his team than Dwight.

He's also blocking over 5 shots a game and his team is undefeated.

LeBron, CP3 and George is the top 3 in no particular order. Durant's been awfully inefficient by his lofty standards.

Yea which proves my point that MVP award= best player on best team which is a dumb idea and isn't the point of the award. I'd still prefer Blake's statline without hesitating considering uncontrolled blocks aren't worth as much as points.

lol, please

6? Curry gets no respect.

His numbers aren't really deserving of anything better than 6th at this point but that's partly because this list is based off of a 5-6 game sample size. Since he got injured vs. the Wolves, he was only able to put up 5 points and 7 assists, which somewhat ****ed up his season stats.

Rarely failing with the correct take as per usual.

Let's not waste our energy on an MVP debate until month 2 or 3 at the very least. 5 games? GTFO.

HAHAHA Lebron at number one?!? What a joke. Both George and Durant have a better case than him easily. Love how the NBA contradicts themselves at every turn when it comes to showering their golden boy with more accolades. They rationalize their hypocrisy by saying like in boxing, you have to de-thrown the champ. This of course is a complete 180 from the trend we have seen over the years in the NBA where back to back MVP winners have had to have even more amazing seasons than their ones previous. Even more funny is that George's Pacers are undefeated while Lebron's Heat are only the 3 seed in the weak east. Lebron's stats have also gone down from last years as well.

Here is the criteria for NBA MVP... Be Lebron James.

you just said yourself its only been 6 games, no need to get outraged.
besides, the pacers are undefeated and have played 1 decent thus far, and Paul George shot 30% in that game.

well, it's difficult to knock off the incumbent, and until more games are put behind us, LeBron is the player to beat.

But yeah, even having this after 5-6 games is ridiculous. Can we at least get to game 20-25?
