Everytime I check these threads, mostly everyone ALWAYS has the Lakers losing. You'd think we're 0-6 and one of the worst teams of all time. :laugh2: 3-3, .500 (1 games back from first!) with a very good chance to win one tonight. LAL shocking the world one game at a time ;)

The problem is Barnes just had his first game back against the Wolves. He should play ample minutes though.

I am starting Manu too... I'm naturally biased, and fortunately my league doesn't count turnovers lol. But he's been solid with assists, steals, and points have been decent. I feel like he could have a throwback Manu'esque game at any time. Idk if it's tonight or not, but whatever. I've got the lead, so I guess I feel I can make the gamble

I did at one point, but the ads never bothered me, I don't mind looking at 49ers jerseys on the sides of my forum, I got adblock for streams though.

Now however, I couldn't imagine browsing without it.

I'd imagine we won't see a lot more 8 rebound and 6 block nights from him  I'd be surprised if it happened ever again.

The 25 points on 25 shouts? Probably not even that once JR comes back. But the inefficiency will certainly be there.

11-08-2013, 10:45 PM
The result of the Raptor game was so predictable...

They are leading by 10 points after the first quarter I see Rudy Gay is 5-7, and I say to myself they are going to get blown out. Before you know it, Raptors blow the lead and Rudy finishes 12-26. and Valanciunas only has 6 attempts.

The Raps have to make a decision, and they have to do it fast. It's either Derozan or Gay. You can't keep both on the same team. Rudy plays slightly better defense but he's also much bigger ball hog. They have to get Valanciunas more involved in the offense. I think Derozan is more willing to do that than Rudy.

Kidd proving the critics right. Planning for the Pacers game by limiting minutes on AK47, Pierce, and Garnett.. ends up losing to the Wizards whom we could not stop defensively. Livingston was also doing really well running the offense and we went on a 30-10 run with him but he takes him out. Also went to Terry in the last shot of regulation vs Johnsonh.

well we don't see many 6 blk games in the NBA in general... but he'll def get more rebounds now that he's at C and Tyson isn't taking 10+ per game.

He's being used as a jump shooter right now... so while the 44% shooting wasn't great tonight, when you consider more than a third of his shots were 3 pointers, it's not bad. Not a night where I'm worried about his "efficiency", he was great on both ends.

Pierce was sick all game. I do think Kidd was planning for tomorrow b/c that writing was on the wall. The last shot was designed for Joe, but Jason was too wide open, I LOL'd when he looked at how wide open he was. I think Kidd did a good job, the Nets should have been blown out. AK47 not playing was ridiculous. Stop overlooking teams and looking to the next one. As far as the game the Nets defended well. We beat ourselves with turnovers. that was the biggest culprit.

I have PIP, watched both Knicks and Nets game. Nets starters were digging a hole, I think at one point they were down 12 or 14 pts. Kidd called a TO took the crowd out the game. (smart move) Came back w/ a unit of Livingston, Blatche, Joe, Jet and brick hands then Anderson. That unit turned a double digit deficit to a double digit lead. I think they were up 12 wit 3 mins left in the 4th. Then Wall, Nene and Beal started to heat up. Ariza hit a 3 pt. from the letters. They came back wit the starters after Blatche missed a few FTs as it was down to a 4 pt. lead, KG, Anderson couldn't hit a shot, Williams returned and the Nets were quick on the help D but couldn't box out KG's man after he rotated, that was the game on the boards. After that Beal and Nene took over.

AK47 not playing was ridiculous. Stop overlooking teams and looking to the next one. As far as the game the Nets defended well. We beat ourselves with turnovers. that was the biggest culprit.

AK is still fragile. You can't expect them to play him so much early. They actually did the right thing there. Even wit the TOs, the problem was late rotation to boxing out after the help defender was sent. That was the game.

Why is O'Neal playing? He's terrible.

Also the Warriors can not allow Diaw to make plays like that. Diaw should be irrelevant. He shouldn't be able to drive by and school your bigs.

They're not similar enough for me to just state a clear answer. Depends on what is going around them.

If I had to give an edge I'd still give it to Love at this point, but Davis obviously brings some wholly unique things to the table

Nah. Plumlee can be as great as he wants and it still makes sense for Indy

Indy was in desperate need of bench scoring...or just scoring in general. Scola will provide that. They're 6-0, I think they're OK with it.

And that pick, because of how good they are, probably won't net an impact player.

Glad that turned out to be entertaining. I love low scoring games. TP won that, despite his missed FT's. He did it against the Suns too, 15 of teams last 16 points in the 4th. His play from the french team (sans FT shooting) is carrying over. Ugly game, but a W is a W.

Yeah we lost because of our inability to get rebounds late in the game. And of course we weren't able to play at our pace. TD kept us in it putting up 21 points and doing his best Steph Curry impression. Good loss though. In a weird way.

The Wolves won in spite of Ricky Rubio. Rubio should not be playing 35 minutes if he's going to play the way he did tonight.

Rubio has been pretty awful all year by his standards. If he is going to revert back to the passive, hide me out there and don't let me shoot Rubio, we are asking Love and Martin to shoulder 50 ppg and stay healthy for 82 games. Not likely. It would help if our newly signed $60 million dollar center started to act like he is worth anywhere near that money too.
