Hope nobody minds, but I threw together a quick thread. Doesn't look like there's been one in a while. I know I did a bunch last year, but work has me tied up this year.

I am afraid to say anything about a blowout after the Rams game. We need our *******O-Line back NOW. Get the ball in Lynch's hands and wear their deffense down. Give RW more than .005 secs to throw the damn ball.

Trent Dilfer: "I haven't been on the Seahawks as the best team in football bandwagon this year ... they have too many holes to be great"

https://twitter.com/957thegame/status/395562977551585281

Trent Dilfer is worse then Skip Bayless in my opinion at least Skip talks bad about the team before they play then either takes credit or eats his crow.

There is absolutely nothing that makes Dilfer an "expert" in anything.

This game shouldn't even be remotely close. As in, 40 something to single digits.

Honestly, I don't even use a format anymore. Got lazy with it and change it every time. For this one I just Google image searched "seahawks buccaneers" to see if any site had graphics and found this. Then copy pasted the info from the Seahawks site and played with the fonts.

I'm still pretty worried about this game, even if it's at home. Our offensive line looks pitiful. They couldn't stop anyone and if they can't this week, we're in some ****.

I just don't see us giving up too
much though.

The Ram's did the same thing to us last season except we ended up on the losing side of it calm down until we play like this continuously.

Zach Stacy rushed all over Panthers D-Line and theres is one of the best.

Even with the beat up line, the difference here is the Seattle defense. I expect lots of turnovers from the miserable Bucs offense.

The last two games, Wilson has gotten completely destroyed and if not for a prayer he just chucked up, we lose that game Monday night. It was a terrible throw that Tate just muscled away from the DB.

I have absolutely NO confidence in this o-line right now. If they go out and show us that they can hold their own, I expect a big win. But, if they go out and McQuistan looks like a high schooler out there, we are in trouble.

I'd like to see the Playbook altered a little until the line is fully healthy. Help Russell get the ball out quicker.

Any other day I'd feel like they can come back. Especially at home. But they're getting completely destroyed on defense. They look like they're not even trying and don't know how to play football. EVERYTHING is going the Bucs way. Glennonn has thrown some **** passes that have been caught for big plays. His touchdowns haven't looked good by any means.

Bucs are pretty terrible. They could easily blow this game. Especially if they get too comfortable or cocky

If they can get a TD before the half, Seahawks are winning this game.

:D

Everyone knows the stat about teams who have the least turnovers win the game like 90% of the time, but slightly lessor known (per the great Gil Brandt) is the incredibly high odds of winning a game when you score a TD in the final 2 min before the half.

Brutally fun. It's a good sign really. No matter what, this team doesn't quit. Lots of teams just fall apart down 3 TDs and turning the ball over. They kept at it.

Only troubling spot was the run D, but gotta believe they turn that around. DTs didn't look good though.

3 turnovers by Seattle and one INT by Thomas stolen by a bad, bad flag and yet the Seahawks still come out on top. The fact that it took OT was not fun but we owned the 2nd half and when it went to OT you pretty much knew how that was going to end. Seahawks became a superior force in the 2nd half.

Pass protection was awful the run blocking was actually pretty good even when they loaded the box.

Tampa Bay seemed to dominate the T.O.P for most of the game thanks to our inability to stop the run but this is fixable in my opinion not like we lost a huge part of our defense to injury.

Regarding the run D, PC said they are trying to do too much and too focused on trying to strip the ball and not tackle. He said they are allowing too many yards after first contact, but it will be fixed.

People on twitter, including Brock Huard it seems, are saying B Wagz is regressing. Obviously something is wrong with the run D, but I don't know that Wagner is to blame. Can someone with a Better eye for football talent tell me if they see anything? He sure exploded into the backfield for the sack yesterday, but other than that I didn't focus on him. The holes at the LOS were huge. I think the DL was more to blame. But I think KJ plays better at MLB than OLB, so that contributes too.

This commentary (http://www.footballoutsiders.com/audibles/2013/audibles-line-week-9) from Vince Verhei on the game rang true to me:

. . .Anyway, that brings us back to Wilson. Yes, he had two bad interceptions in scoring territory. But man, otherwise, what a game. Missing his top two receivers (Rice and Harvin), his top two tackles, and by the end of the game, his Pro Bowl center, he completed the biggest comeback in team history, with three total touchdowns and a game-winning field goal (though Lynch had most of the yards on that drive). Doug Baldwin filled in for Sidney Rice and got most of the receiving yards. He had back-to-back drops in the first half, but got his act together in the second, including one of his trademark toe-dragging sideline grabs.

I'm not worried about the offense, at least not in the long term, because those three linemen are coming back, and Darrell Bevell can theoretically learn from his mistakes. But the performance against the run is very disconcerting.

It was a combination of Wagner and KJ shooting the gaps too early. The same thing was happening in the St. Louis game. When you have down hill or misdirection runs you have to wait at the point of attack or you'll get sucked into the OL's and holes will be wide open in the second line of attack like they were yesterday. They seemed to have recognized the problem in the second-half and it was rectified to some extent. Wagner's pass defense is there but I agree with Brock on this one, his run defense has really regressed a ton.

The Defensive Line were in position to make plays they didn't it was not all B Wagz fault they were running north and south right up the gut of our D-Line.

The line was so bad at pass blocking they took Carpenter out of the game moved Mcquistan to Guard and had a UDFA at RT and 7th round pick at LT.

If they weren't sacking Wilson they sure were hitting him so badly that in the 4th quarter he started to get up slower and i even saw him shake his non throwing hand.

That TD pass to Baldwin he had a guy in his face immediately and the commentator was like "Wow i don't know how he threw that ball".

Two starts against the Titans (w/o Locker) and Cardinals. TEN ranks 14th in YDS/G and Arizona ranks 24th. Wagner has definitely looked bad at times, and KJ did have very good run grades when he started at MIKE.

I'd say the bye week will do a ton of players some good. Gives Harvin, Breno, and Okung an extra week of healing. Lets the players like Big Red who are feeling the season long fatigue get some much needed rest. Gives us a extra week to correct some of the glaring problems this team has right now.

I wish the bye week was this week, because it's much needed.
