Hopefully we end the fellatio Wacha will get from Buck and McCarver before it begins.

Seconded.

Loved how Papi took Siegrist yard, just as Joe Buck reached the balls...

There is a lot of (deserved) chatter about Wacha.

We are at home, came out with a great offensive approach last night, both starting pitchers coming off a special performance, this should be all you can ask for in a WS match up.

Yup he deserves chatter, but that is literally all Buck and McCarver will talk about. Just like they only talked about Verlander, Scherzer, and Sanchez. Lackey pitched an excellent game last time against Verlander, and they still were only talking about Verlander. It will be very obnoxious this time since they are Cardinals fans.

Nothing would be more satisfying to see Wacha get lit up to put a halt to the inevitable Buck and Maccarver circlejerk. But he is a fantastic pitcher so that is quite unlikely based on how he has been pitching but you never know; Wainwright came in dominant too and he got knocked around pretty good. Can't wait for the game tonight.

-Lavigne43-

******** that they don't show the first pitch. Instead we get to listen to Buck and McCarver orgasm over Wacha

I'd seriously bench Salty for the rest of the series. He can't hit good pitching, and if we get bad pitching the rest of the lineup should score enough runs. Ross is no hitter, but I think he has more hits than Salty this postseason.

Walk the #7 hitter, #8 hitter gets a hit, #9 hitter walks, #1 hitter with a very shallow fly ball to LF, while the superior defender who is left-handed and better suited to make that play spoils on the bench, and the RP throws it into the stands and then allows an RBI single.

Yeah, just frustrating baseball and stupid decisions.
