Every year the Bulls' Forum holds a game where GM's creates the best team via a clean slated fantasy, snake-draft and also by means of trade. At the end of the game, GMs voted on how they believed the regular season of this game would shake up. These are the playoffs of the Bulls' Forum 2013 NBA Re-Draft.

Please take the time to consider each line up, the match-up itself, and vote on which team you believe would win in a seven game series. Some teams have written their own "write-ups" detailing why they should win this series.

AZKABAN HAS HOME COURT ADVANTAGE

2. Azkaban
PG: Jarret Jack - Toney Douglas
SG: Dwyane Wade - Jason Terry
SF: Andrei Kirilenko - Steve Novak- Trevor Booker
PF: David West - Reggie Evans
C: Tiago Splitter - Greg Smith - Jason Smith

7. Pallet Town
PG- Jeremy Lin / Brandon Jennings
SG- Danny Green / Brandon Rush
SF- Wilson Chandler / Michael Beasley / Stephen Jackson
PF- Dirk Nowitzki / Marreese Speights
C- Omer Asik / Festus Ezeil / Hasheem Thabeet

Azkaban Write-Up

Congratulations to Pallet town on making the playoffs. Sadly, there playoff run is more of a leisurely jog because they simply cannot match up against Azkaban. Azkaban has a perfectly built offense surrounding 3-time NBA champion and a Finals MVP in Dwyane Wade with a bruising, efficient legitimate second option and low-post/high-post scorer in David West. Then, we have an abundant amount of shooters between Jarret Jack, Toney Douglas, Jason Terry, and Steve Novak who collectively shot 436/1,101 which equals 39.6% on 14 3-pt attempts per game (that would lead the league). To couple that, we have fantastic secondary ball-handlers to make Wade's life easier with Jarret Jack & Andrei Kirilenko. We have a great scoring option off the bench in Jason Terry. Simply put we have one of the best benches in this game. Throw in some great rebounding between Jack/Wade/AK47/West/Splitter in the starting lineup (not even mentioning REGGIE EVANS ability to dominate the board) and this offense is simply perfectly built for a long playoff run.

Moving onto our defense: we have a damn solid defense between both our starters and bench. Dirk Nowitzki, a HOF, will certainly get his simply because well, he's a HOF. However, we will make him work for it with AK47/West/Splitter all being able to take turns on him. The real reason why our defense will be greatly effective versus Pallet Town is who in the world is their 2ndary option on offense? Outside of Dirk, they have an under-performing and below-average starting guard in Lin... a 3 point specialist in Danny Green... An average starting small forward in Wilson Chandler... and Mr. Brick-Hands himself Omer Asik. Brandon Jennings off the bench? That's okay... but who cares? Is he really a legit 2nd option on a contending team? I certainly think not.

I can kill everyone with statistical production, head-to-head matchups, but it really is unnecessary because Azkaban has no question marks in their starting lineup and they have great depth and an all-around cast. In comparison, outside of Dirk Nowitzki Pallet Town will struggle to score (*relying on Lin/Jennings won't equate to success). And outside of Asik, who has only played one season at 30mpg, where is there defense coming from? Michael Beasley or Festus Ezeli off the bench? That's just not how you win a championship.

For all of these reasons, I firmly believe that Azkaban will win this series in 5 games.

I really like Pallet town upon closer inspection, Dirk and Asik is a perfect Pairing. Green and Chandler on the wings is suitable and split minutes for who is hot or what is needed between jennings and linn is pretty good too. The have a clear defined #1 player but not really a strong number 2. West and Wade is a good combo but there just isn't that much offense outside of that. Its really close to me and I'm leaning Pallet town but I'll wait for some more arguments before I decied

Tiago Splitter averaged 10ppg last year posting an 18.7 PER and 118 ORtg and 0.197 WS/48.
Jarret Jack had a 54.2ts%, 110 ORtg, 21.0usg% last year playing 30 minutes a game.
Andre Kirilenko, the best player on the T'Wolves last year, posted a 17.6 PER 59.0ts% 113 ORtg playing 32mpg.
Jason Terry averaged 13.5ppg off the bench last year, 56.6ts% ... why can't he provide the same on my team?

Arguing that I don't have much offense outside of Wade/West, but then saying that Pallet Town has just enough without a true #2 option is crazy talk. Give me Wade over Dirk, give me David West over Wilson Chandler, give me Jarret Jack over the crazy inefficient combo of Lin/Jennings, and give me Kirilenko over Danny Green.

Plus, Splitter isn't an offensive liability like Asik is. Pallet Town will routinely be playing 4 on 5... and they also are starting a 3 point specialist. Those are two guys that can do collectively only 1 thing on offense. In comparison I have multitude of efficient playmakers between Wade, Jack, Kirilenko, West, and Splitter that play off each other perfectly.

Splitter is a product of the spurs and vastly overrated. Jack needs the ball to be effective. Trust as a warriors fan it was frustrating watching him try and take it from curry and he will do the same with wade and stoop all movement. Asik let's dirk do dirk like chandler did. Lin will thrive with the pnr and pnp with all the shooters here. Jennings isin the role that will eventually define his career. He's Crawford at a young age. Too good to bench/teams banking on potential. Well since I'm paying him fake money I'm gonna put him in the best place to succeed. Off the bench. Rush is good for good d and 3 point shooting. Spieghts has a great mid range shoot and ezeil was fantastic lasted and a big reason why we didn't feel the loss of Bogut early on.

Splitter's not a product of a system to the attune that he'd miraculously be **** on offense. He's a great supporting player whose production isn't reliant on a scheme.

Jarret Jack is a secondary ball-handler that can spread the floor well enough to let Wade do work. Wade has become a good player off the ball playing with Lebron - no reason to think Jack would be a detriment.

Jennings being a role that suits him doesn't make him any better than he is. He's ATROCIOUS offensively. The most inefficient starting point guard in the league I believe last season.

Jason Terry is better than Rush, who just missed the entire last season. Reggie Evans, Greg Smith, and Jason Smith provide exceptional rebounding and efficient scoring off the bench.

I have the best player in this series, a better 2nd option, and a more efficient bench to utilize than you do. AK47 can guard Wilson Chandler, Wade can easily guard Danny Green (just a specialist), Jarret Jack can slow down Jeremy Lin with his size well enough, and Tiago Splitter doesn't have to worry about Omer Asik at all offensively.

We'll simply force Dirk to take 50 shots a game and have him beat us - with no 2nd option Dirk's usage will go up and his efficiency will go down. You simply have NOBODY to alleviate the pressure off of Dirk, whereas I have a plethora of guys to alleviate the pressure on Wade.

I think you're exagerating Tiago Splitter some. He is going against Asik so if he's lucky Splitter will get 10 points in 30 min. Asik I think can match that offensive output on putbacks alone. I also don't see as big of a difference between Wade and Green as you do just going off of the series between the two of them this last offseason (although I am biased because I dislike Wade) I like your bench better but I feel like you're a shooter in the starting lineup away from winning. If you had Korver instead of Kirelenko it would probably swing my vote

jack tries to do to much and will take the ball out of wades hands at inopportune times. splitter will ineffective vs asik and asik will easily get 10 against splitter.

jennings will be more efficient playing next to someone like dirk. case in point ellis right now(i know it preseason but still you can see what happens when playing with a true 1st option like dirk). green just went toe to toe with your boy wade in the finals and set a nba record for 3's. i think he'll do fine. yes rush is coming off an injury but dude was fantastic pre injury and no reason to believe he wont come back at the same level.

How are they more balanced exactly? Being completely dependent on one player to carry you for a 7-game series without HCA doesn't make you more balanced when the other team has 5 guys that can all score efficiently while being able to stretch the floor, rebound, pass, and defend.
