I was thinking it over a lot and looking and with only a week and a half left and sitting in 10th with a so so 2nd last week thusfar theres a decent chance Im not even gonna make the playoffs anyway unless I run the table next week against Eages (which is possible considering hes tanking). And even if I make it Im facing a quick L if I end up matched up with Raps Nation. Might as well try to prep for next season and hope I can maybe limp into the playoffs with an easy matchup next week.

And ya Gibbs got a very good deal. I blame you for that KCab. The first trade set a precedence that I had to beat lol :laugh2:

Durant is worth a heck of a lot more than Lebron to me. I was still thinking about it though and quickly sent that offer to Gibby without even really thinking just to see if there was any way he would still trade him. Lebron was my backup keeper choice.

If he had played and put up his usual numbers I would have won rebs and blks last and finished 7th as opposed to 9th.

I shouldnt have held on to Redick last week either. Even a scrub center in his place would have put up 12 boards and 2 blocks over 3-4 games

Word thats whats tough about head to head. One key injury can kill your whole team. In my other 2 head to head leagues Im getting beaten almost purely because the other teams each play 7 or 8 more games this week than I do.

Thats why I like playing in Roto leagues too. Having it average out over the course of the season makes for fewer surprises.

I've been on the losing end of that coin. It is one of the crappy things about h2h, but I still prefer h2h because I find it keeps more people interested longer.

My sentiments exactly for my other 2 leagues. Tied in both of them and ended up just losing both on tiebreakers (head to head season matchup with that one opponent). One league the guy had like 7 more games than me this week so a tie kind of exceeded expectations in that one. In the other one I lost by one 3 pointer. If Durant hadn't hit that 3 to beat us earlier in the week then I would have one that matchup.

I guess its just all eyes on my roto league now

So in another one of my leagues I offered a guy Ty Lawson, JJ Redick, and Roy Hibbert for Anthony Davis. I was just trying to gauge his own trade value of Davis and wasn't expecting him to accept by any means. He rejected my offer, but then he accepted a trade for Davis from another team. He received Derrick Rose, Deandre Jordan and Jamal Crawford. Crawford/Redick and Lawson/Rose are pretty close. Jordan has more value than Hibbert, but in this trade, the guy giving up Davis also traded away Bosh and Wesley Matthews (whereas in my offer he would have had to drop like Matt Barnes and Varajao or something)

Ive just been sitting here for the last half hour trying to figure out what this guy's thought process possibly could have been lol

You could have gotten a more impactful big most likely in the season once all the roles sort themselves out. Ed Davis was a good pick up though but most likely you could have gotten him a lot cheaper lol.

1. Figure out what the commish situation is going to be going forward. If it is possible on Yahoo, I think we should configure the league to have 2 full power commissioners (as opposed to the assistant thing) as a failsafe in the event that someone goes AWOL in the future. Failing that, we should go with the most reliable person as head commish, and then the next 2 as assistants (as in the event of the head guy leaving, the assistants can at least create a new league with the same important settings/history)

2. We need to set a draft date. The season starts like next Tuesday or something, but if we end up missing a week or whatever I don't think it will be a huge deal. Important thing is to make sure everyone can make it which could be difficult if we have to cram it in.

3. Once the above is sorted out we need to figure out the keeper situations for this upcoming year as well. Remember we are still going with our unwritten rule that you can only keep a player for 2 consecutive drafts. However, as far as I know there isn't really any way to police that so we are basically on the honour system in that regard.

I think at this point since they did rejoin on Yahoo we can assume 6-9 are all going to be playing this year. Just cause they didn't confirm on PSD doesn't mean that they won't see it on Yahoo and be active.

Still no word from Gibby. If we want to draft this weekend we should look into adding one more person to replace him. Anybody in particular come to mind for any of you? I'm probably just gonna make a thread in the main raps forum and see if anyone replies
