T'Wolves becoming the new Blazers. Before the season even starts Budinger with a knee injury that may force him to miss the season. Remember he only played 23 games last year because of a knee injury too. It's a bummer because I like this guy a lot as a role player off the bench.

The season? How bad was the injury..

It says all or most of season, so it's not guaranteed to be all of the season. It says it was severe but won't know more details till next week.

if this is true, it's becoming comical what is happening to my team on the injury front

Looks like it is from the link and other source. Not in terms of how long he will be out, but the fact that it appears to be a significant injury.. Very unfortunate

While we don’t have a lot of details he is going to see the famed Dr. James Andrews next week, which is a sign that things are bad and he could be out for a chunk or all of the season. Reportedly this was not a one-time blow but rather something that came as he increased his workouts before camp — his knee just started to swell up and an MRI revealed an issue.

Blazers and Clippers shared this curse in the past, it has now been given to the Wolves. Pass it on to the Bobcats or a team nobody cares about man. :(

That's what I was thinking. Really sucks for the Wolves and their fans. I didn't like the re-signing when they made it. I thought they could have gotten much cheaper based on everyone else that was out there and his injuries. Sucks to see him hurt again either way.

Did you ever watch Budinger? He's a freak athlete with something like a 42 inch vert. He's not a cliche 3 point specialist white guy.

I like this kid a lot, hope it's not too serious. Great role player for a team with championship aspirations.

microfracture would mean he's out the season without a doubt.

I think he would have had a chance to start. He also may have come off the bench though because of defensive issues. Either way though his athleticism and range would have helped a ton. I think he would have gotten 25mpg or so.

Too bad. I was predicting them making the playoffs this season with healthy players. Hopefully he can recover. He's a too good of a player.

I read 3 weeks tonight I think. Big difference from most or all of the season. Hoping this is the case.
