When the catfish tried to extort Anderson while posing as the Cal Mother for things the catfish had sent the mother while posing as Anderson he must have been like "wait, what"

There are so many posters on this site that owe Birdman an apology and moreover need to take this as a learning experience. Throwing the man under the bus as a child pornography criminal without any facts whatsoever is incredibly irresponsible. The only basis for spreading the false accusations as if they were truth was simply because he played on the Heat, and that is very very sad.

^^^^^ Really?.. Just becuase hes on the heat?.. Are you sure it has nothing to do with how he looks?...If you wanna cover your entire body with tattoos and rep a creepy mohawk, thats cool, have at it. But it will attract attention, most of it not good attention.

I mean I don't agree that it had anything to do with being on the Heat, but tattoos and a mohawk are no reason to condemn a man to a child porn conviction before any evidence was brought forth. People condemned him because of the way he looked, which is wrong.

Agree 100%.. Nothing to do with him being on the heat. I think most of this happened when he was on the nuggets anyways..

American standard: Look uniform and abandon all originality, personality and self expression or be judged below the standard.

I don't like Chris Anderson whatsoever but many people in America and the world even need to re-evaluate the way they judge and perceive people and situations.

Yeah I'm pretty sure it did. He didn't sign with the Heat until after all of this was over I believe.

Lol Okay dude.. As someone just posted.. He was also suspended 2 years for Meth, LSD and opiate use.. Sooooo... He kinda threw his own image out the door. Can he be judged below the standard for that?.. or should we re-evaluate the way we look at meth use as well?..

He ruined his own image due to his actions but the fact is many people judge a book by its cover and come to their own subjective view of the person based on assumptions and no facts or knowledge whatsoever.

The meth incidents from earlier in his career certainly haven't helped his image. That coupled with that tattoos and mowhawk etc. are not great for the clean cut image the public prefers. Regardless, none of those things should have had any bearing on our feelings one way or the other with the child porn. At least until there was sufficient evidence showing that he did indeed have it. I know that popped in my head as well, so I see where your coming from.

I respect the **** out of Birdman. The man messed up majorly with his meth addiction. He almost derailed his entire career and very easily could have died a strung-out junkie. Instead, he overcame that addiction and worked his way back to playing in one if not the hardest leagues to play in. I don't condone their prior actions per say, but I don't think an addiction, self inflicted or not, should be looked at with only disgust like a lot of people do.

I like Birdman too. Dude has a motor (do we use that word too much these days). Anyway, I like Bird and respect the Heat for taking a chance by signing a marginal player who had already had a meth issue and might have had a child porn issue. I'm sure they did some homework before signing but still. They took a risk and it paid off for everyone involved

So Anderson did have sex with an underage girl? Did that girl lead on that she was of age?

According to his attorney she did however it really doesn't matter b/c she was 17 and the legal age of consent in beautiful Denver is a ripe 16.

I have no problem with Birdman, but besides that, agree 100%. People are too quick to judge based on looks. I have a bunch of tatted up friends who are as good of people you would ever want to meet. I also know have known some very standard and proper people who have turned out to be extreme deviants, even on a criminal level.

Have any of your friends with tatts been banned from their current job because they had a meth addiction?.. I think its a mixture of his tatts/hair along with his past that makes people jump to conclusions.. Not saying its right, but when u have a history, you kind of lose the benefit of the doubt.

That was weird. How did they met anyway? Since it appears that the mother orchestrated everything online by herself.
I'm not accusing anyone,I didnt know the story until now,I'd just like to know the truth.
