There are the Splash Brothers, and then there are actual brothers.

According to Warriors World, an affiliate of ESPN, the Golden State Warriors will sign Seth Curry, brother of starting point guard and budding star Stephen Curry.

Seth Curry, who went undrafted this year, has spent the past three seasons with the Duke Blue Devils, averaging 17.5 points and shooting over 43 percent from 3-point range last season. He was also named to the First Team All-ACC, and the Second Team All-American by Sporting News.

However, a shin injury that required surgery sidelined him during draft workouts, and he did not hear his named called on draft night. But he did receive several invites to training camp, and the Warriors liked him enough to reportedly sign him.

Seth, like his brother, can really shoot the ball. But there are questions surrounding his ability to play both guard positions, which was exactly what was asked about Stephen when he came into the league in 2009.

“Just the opportunity to show that I can handle the ball full time and play the point guard position,” Seth Curry told the Sporting News, in response to the critics. “I know I can I just have to get the opportunity to get out there and show it.”

And Stephen agrees.

“The same questions that were brought up about my game and how it transitions to the NBA, he’s going through that same criticism,” said Seth’s older brother. “But I think the way he shoots the ball and the way he can score will be a high value for a team.”

There have only been five sets of brothers to play on the same team in the NBA, and only one current set in the Suns’ Markieff and Marcus Morris, who also happen to be twins.
