Hey guys, It is that time of year again! Once again we kick of the PSD NBA Off-Season Player Rankings. This is the 6th year I have done this on PSD and it always brings some great discussion and debate. Please keep things civil and discuss who you feel is most fitting and deserving of being voted in each poll.

A lot has changed since last season. Lebron James and the Miami Heat are back to back NBA champions after an exciting 7 game series win over the Spurs. Let start the discussion since lots has changed since the start of last season. Please TRY AND VOTE FOR THE BEST PLAYER AND DON'T BE A HOMER. I will leave the poll open for one day and than we can carry on to the next best player at that position. I will add more players after each round. I have also included the results of those last 5 years so everyone can see how much things have changed...Enjoy.

Due to some people complaining that the rule was not written for the PG poll; in order to be eligible for these rankings, players must of played in 10 or more games last season. Thank you.

REMEMBER this is based on who is the best player, not the player who has the potential to be the best

David Lee

Yeah, D. Lee's probably due. He's in the same production range as Griffin and Aldridge, so he can't fall too much more.

That said, so are 5 other PF's.

Ibaka, Lee, Gasol, Smith, and Milsap are the last 5 going off the board. In that order IMO. I voted for Gasol by mistake though.

Too disappointed in Ibaka's playoff performance in aiding KD with Westbrook out to give him a top 8 nod. Zero shot creation ability and couldn't hit an open 6 footer.

Anthony Davis or David Lee. I went with Davis because i project him to be better this upcoming season. Plus he is a good 2 way player compared to Lee.

Lee here. I think his offensive game is the most versitle left in the bunch. And none are proven two way players.

He's overrated on this site. Guy always goes ghost in big games. Shouldn't be in the top 10.

With Howard gone, I think Gasol will see 18/10 easily.

I'd rather have a good chunk of these guys over Lee and ZBo. Like a good 5-6 of them honestly.

West is sp underrated. People he is an above average players on both ends. He's a difference maker on defense, he's been a second option on offense.

Taking AD who isn't proven yet is a mistake if you're trying to win right now. Taking Lee who can beast for you offensively but gets torn defensively leaves you somewhere close to where you started.

He certainly is better than any of the remaining players on the list, but Gasol is a center at this point in his career. As a PF he's just not as effective.

I don't think it'll matter much what Gasol plays. He'll most likely play both because Kaman can't be expected to be much of an impact. Just going by the list. I don't think Bosh should've been labeled as a center. Unfair for him but that's how it goes I guess.

Arite so I know Thaddeus Young isnt here at 6, but you should at least put him on the list.. esp if guys like Smith, Illy, Ryno, Faried, Milsap, Amare, maybe even ZBo, are on here. Thad had a very good yr and out played a number of the top 10 PF's.

Yea but you gotta see it first. This isn't based on what a player can potentially do.

He's always been an underrated player. He'll be lucky to crack top 10 on this site. West is a classic example of a junk-yard dog. He gets his hands dirty and gets the job done.

I used to love West when he was in NO. But idk, I just don't see much in him anymore...probably cause I don't watch the Pacers play enough.

He's a better player now man. Grinder on D and crafty on O. Per game numbers generally improve when you got Chris Paul playing with ya.

ZBo is #1 scoring option on a WCF team, without much help behind him in the scoring department. I don't think you can swap one other guy on this list with ZBo and get the same level Memphis team you have now.

Really? He's a 15 ppg scorer playing with two 14 ppg scorers beside him. In the playoffs they were 3 17ppg scorers. And that team's built on D, which isn't his forte'. I see no reason why plenty of these guys couldn't fill in with similar or better production for the team.

Wow in what world is David Lee better than Zach Randolph? And how does Josh Smith have 0 votes, yet Farried has 2.

Lol at the disbelief. What, does Randolph's transcendent ball stopping D and high flying blocks separate the two? Because it isn't his rebounding, scoring or playmaking ability.

He should be at 5. And while there are no top pf in the league there is a very solid bunch here that are all very close to eachother.
