And be on the same team and be successful. For example, i believe that 2 Kobe's can be on the same team. They can play 1-3 positions, he can post up, creat plays and spot up as a 3pt shooter.

Rules are:

Pick a player currently in the Nba
What positions would he play
Explanation of why it would work

Go!

more like setting screens for himself, cutting to the basket, and shooting 40% from 3 and playing the best wing defense in the nba bar none.

Two Tim Duncan's is a scary thought

Lebron. As much as I dislike him and the Heat, the answer is Lebron. He can play the 1-4 and occasional 5 and dominate nearly every aspect of the game.
Only time I've ever seen him hesitate is driving vs a guy like roy hibbert.
So ya, it's easily Lebron

Tim Duncan and KG can play the 4 and 5 no doubt.

I like the idea of Lebron at the 1 and 3

It would be like when he was playing with the admiral. Both can lock down the block, block shots, anchor the d, score from the post, have a face up mid range shot, pass. Tim Duncan is one of the most complete players ever. Not really much I have to say dude could do it all.

I think two Duncan's would be a much better fit than two KG's.

Lebron at 1 and 3 is interesting as well. But to those saying he can play the 4 and a little 5 your tripping. He can play a little 4 but couldn't play every minute on the court as a 4. The league is just declined at those two positions so much that's it's a shame.

But I mean, if you're cloning him, you could probably make more than 5, correct? Have a Lebron come off the bench whenever Lebron gets tired. I think if you gave each of them a year to train, they would be able to fill 1-4 pretty well. 5 would be a bit more of a stretch, but honestly, with the league like it is today he's probably better than some starting centers.

To answer the question, any great player who isn't a ball dominant point guard. It would be hard to make sense of having two Chris Pauls, or two Rajon Rondo's on the floor.

The correct answer is Kobe, because those crazy bastards he hooks up with in Germany might actually do it..

You would not even win 1 game with 2 Kobe's but you win 50 with 1. 2 ego's like that, with that arrogance, and childishness, can't work....best player to clone and play along himself would be Duncan IMO.

Tim Duncan at the 4 and the 5 would be just awesome.

-Would arguably be the best defensive front court in the league
-The high-low would be run to perfection
-Double the leadership

James Harden playing the 1 & the 2 as well would be good.

-Jeremy Lin is the PG.

If Lebron OG does all the passing, and Lebron 2.0 does all the scoring you would probably see the single game points record broken (100) and assist record (30). Lobs and fastbreaks all day. People forget Lebron was originally drafted as a PG.

This coming from a self-proclaimed Lebron hater.

Marc Gasol is skilled enough and has enough range to be a 4 or 5

Lebron lobbing passes to Lebron would just be unfair. Dude is pinpoint accurate and can go get anything.

Anything other than Lebron to answer this question is wrong.
