They have been getting a season like this every year. Corbin, Miley, Kennedy, Hudson...Imagine if they sold high on these guys after each season.

They should be... Especially Miley and Corbin i mean they are just soft lefties. Solid #4 or #5s? Yeah, but some team is bound to overpay for that.

Honestly I'd rather have Randall Delgado than Corbin going forward any day. Corbin may prove me wrong, but all signs point against Corbin.

See us taking a minimum of two games, just to see how Corbin does i didn't say sweep.

What do you see in Iggy? He's horrible offensively. Best case scenario he's an average starter at SS. Hes a way below average 3B both offensively and defensively. Either way Drew is better at SS, and even middlebrooks right now is better at 3B.

Jake Peavy is a good #3 starter. That's way more valuable than Jose Iglesias.

If you look at the grand scheme of things.

Buch will be back, when he does what is the rotation?

Buch,Lester and then lackey deserves the nod for 3 over Peavy imo and Doubront has been great lately with lack of support. Workman was doing his job and I just overall hate dempster but yeah.

With Buch Lester and Lackey thats a solid first 3 for a postseason series.

Our Pen has sprung leaks and could have traded Iggy for a closer or set up man, sure we got whats his name but he is in triple A with a decent era and last time in the majors he was rocked

Peavey gets hit hard in the AL East among other AL teams gets lit up I'm not sold on it until I see 3 solid starts but that's just me

His glove is A+ and sure some hits are lucky but I'd like to have kept him or sold high on an issue outside of Starting pitching he did rake for a long time, if it keeps up just remember the guy who mentioned it can probably happen.

You got to see one of the best D SS's in his prime, and that will be missed.

His play is baseball porn, fan candy, awesome, etc. His bat was improving, we made a good deal today, but when Peavy goes for surgery Iggy will be missed.

It's not like he has been pitching well for a couple innings and then imploding. Hes been imploding in the first inning walking everyone, then sometimes settles in. You can't just expect him to magically be fine in a different role. He needs to find his mechanics again. I was surprised they called him up, I guess he was the only option.

I will miss Iggy's ridiculous offense. If he was still on the Red Sox I would still miss his ridiculous offense.

Why is that. He provided us with good to great defense and he started
to improve offensively.

Outside of a 32 games stretch in the Majors, the other 95% of his career in AA, AAA, and MLB since the start of 2011 is a story of well below average hitting. His last 31-32 games for us was right back to his career norms.

He is a fine, even excellent fielder. But we have a stud to play SS next year, and a stud to play 3B the year after.

But im not going to turn on Iglesias the minute he gets traded. I miss his stellar defensive plays and hustling to first base:

Nobody should turn on him, I'm talking about evaluating him. I won't miss him, I wish him well although not against us.

Exactly. I wish him well too but it's Xander time.

Stop talking. Jk. Lol. Seriously though I do miss Jose Iglesias.

So you say this..and then..."Exactly. I wish him well too but it's Xander time."

How do u do that man? Like, did you not notice that he had like 5 hits(all singles) in the last like 50 ab's. Or did you think he would continue getting super lucky all season? After the last 2 years in the minors I think the more educated among us hoped he would hit just enough to entice another team to take him on...and well...that's excatly what happened. This was the best use of his value we could have ever asked for.

In other news...Doubront has been nothing less than a solid #3 borderline #2 this season. 19/20 starts allowing 3 runs or less. 7 out of the last 9 2 or less.(It might be 8/9 tbh) Those people saying he should be moved to the pen with Peavy need to rethink about how valuable he is!

Just stop.
