The NBA clearly has the least parity of any major sport. For this reason, it's a little easier to predict the champion in this sport versus others.

My question is this: who do you think will be crowned as champions in the next 10 years, and how many times? Please note that I'm not asking for specific years per se, just the different teams and how many times they will win in the next 10 years.

For example, my prediction is:

Heat (x4), Thunder (x2), Rockets (x2), Bulls (x1), Cavs (x1)

I believe enough groundwork has been made for these (or ANY) predictions to be somewhat viable, and not to be a complete crapshoot.

My predictions are based off Lebrons eventual decline, along with other great players/ teams ascension into the spotlight.

Sidenote: I haven't seen a post like this before, so I thought it would be interesting to see what people think. Apologies if you think this is a dumb, worthless post.

I can't predict the next 10 champions, let alone the next 5, until I know where LeBron will be playing after this season.

There isn't a ton of parity, but it's still too hard to predict this stuff considering how frequently players move...which is at a rate higher than the MLB and NFL.

This is one of the worst threads I have ever seen on this forum. If I were an admin, I would revoke your thread-making privileges just for asking this question.

Having little parity doesn't help predict WHICH teams will be the ones at the right end of that spectrum. Free agency and lopsided trades (in hindsight) will define that.
