The Lakers forum held its third edition of the Lakers All-Time Re-Draft over the past month. Users assembled teams by drafting players who donned the Lakers jersey at any point in their careers. For the purpose of this game, every player is assumed to be in their prime.

Valencia has home-court advantage in this matchup.

I'll just copy paste my post from the Lakers forum version of this thread :p

I feel like AC Green won't be able to guard Malone, and overall Long Beach lacks defenders. On the other hand, Valencia is offering great defense on the perimeter and inside...Fox and Cooper could handle Worthy, with Ratliff and Malone waiting to block Worthy or contest his shots. Goodrich would be harassed whole game by Cooper and Van Exel. But then again I don't like betting against Big Game James and Goodrich, who indeed did lead the Lakers in scoring even with West and Wilt on the team.

However, defense wins games.
