These are the last 2 back to back champs of the NBA, you could choose whichever team you thought was better for the Lakers(09-10) and for the Heat(12-13). I think it"d be a REALLY good series, unsure who would win though.

I would have to go LA just because of Bynum. It would tough for Miami to cover him down low. Either way it would be a 7 game series probably. Health would be huge in that series because Bynum and Wade can disappear sometimes with injuries.

I would go Lakers in 6. The Lakers have 2 of the best bigman back then. They would run over bosh & haslem or whoever they threw on them. & on top of that. Phil was the coach then lol

Damn, that's a tough call.

Chalmers
Wade
Lebron
Bosh
Haslem

vs.

Fisher
Kobe
Artest
Gasol
Bynum

OP, here are the full rosters of each team, just so the others can take a look at who were on the teams (since some might have forgotten)
Rosters: LA: http://www.basketball-reference.com/teams/LAL/2010.html
MIA: http://www.basketball-reference.com/teams/MIA/2013.html

Farmar, Brown, Odom off the Bench for LA
Allen, Battier, and Anderson for the Heat.

Really Close, but I would probably pick LA in 7 (Just).

I take into account that LA has two big men that could cause Miami Fits, and Wade's slight drop off. Lebron could still carry them, but Artest on him could cause problems.

If a mod could put a poll, sorry I didn't really know how to.

The Lakers rather easily. Even though the Heat have a better supporting cast, the Kobe Gasol duo would have gave the Heat hell. Not to mention Lebron has a real hard time against good teams in the finals.

Whos healthy and whos not?

The Lakers never really had a healthy Bynum. Heat never had healthy Wade.

Assume everyone is healthy, I'm surprised no one has chosen the Heat yet since there were actually people who thought the Heat could beat the Shaq & Kobe Lakers.

How about a breakdown for both situations?

Everyone healthy I would have to think about it.

Everyone in the health they were in, Lakers 09 beat Miami 12, but Lakers 10 lose to Miami 13. Kobe was on one leg in 10, worlds better than wade, but he still had his knee drained four times that postseason. Likewise Pau didnt show up in the road unlike the year before and Odom was a bit banged up alongside Bynum who was even more hobbled.

i went with the lakers in the kobe/shaq thread. but that was because of how ridiculously dominant shaq would be in that matchup. i'm saying heat in this one especially if everyone is healthy, lebron/wade become too much even for kobe and his bigs up front.

Lakers win this one. Kobe has big's and great defensive team. Lakers in 7 with kobe to much in game 7.

Kobe can't handle Wade
LeBron destroys Kobe's squads
Bynum would be the only real problem for the Heat

Wade DESTROYS Kobe EASILY.

LeBron puts up 40-10-10.

Bosh OUTPLAYS Pau

but Bynum is pretty good.

Lakers suck.

Lakers in 6.

Kobe does work but Gasol Odom and Bynum would be just much too much for Bosh and the Misfits down low to handle..

I think Heat in 6. At the end of the day no one stops Lebron and Wade seems to always outplay Kobe heads up. I also happen to think those Lakers weren't a great championship team.

This is rather easy, heat in 5 maybe 4. Simply because Lebron owns the Lakers, if the Cavs went to finals in 09, they would have won that Championship against the Lakers.. Do you think Bynum(never been healthy) is better than Hibbert or Duncan? Pau? Lebron could handle him.. so what advantages do lakers have?

I actually think the Heat would take it pretty easily.

012 Heat beat the 09 Lakers
010 Lakers beat the 013 Heat.

with a healthy D Wade the Heat win both in 5 or 6..., they would be owned by the Heat on the break. Kinda like how Detroit ran LA out of the gym in '04

Extremely close call, but I'd go with the Lakers in 7, the only reason being that Miami struggles miserably against teams with talented bigs, Odom, Gasol and Bynum would cause havoc.

Lakers all the way!

This is tough, it would depend on how HAM kobe goes in that series considering kobe usually makes wade his ***** when they play heads up. If kobe was guarding lebron for a little bit that would also help to limit lebron, artest was also younger and faster then to handle lebron. I dunno it would be tough, but i'd say lakers take it based on the kobe factor.
