No surprise there.

I wonder how much players actually care about winning these?

I personally couldn't care less. They're probably flattered, but nothing more.

pretty much dude. Should be about 2-3 minutes before the usual suspects show up and derail the thread.

If I was an athlete I would want to win every single award and would show up and collect said awards big or small and would have a wing of my mansion dedicated to said awards lol

"This was for all four of us man. but ima jus keep it at my house"

Lebron jus won me as a fan that was hilarious. I no longer think he's a horrendous public speaker

His speech for the women whose name just slipped my mind (won Arthur Ashe award) was good ... I'm no lbj lover but that was a perfect opportunity for extreme haters to wait and pounce if he failed...

(Sad story too..amazing)

He also won best male athlete. Beating out guys like Adrian Peterson, Michael Phelps and a MLB guy (I don't watch baseball)

But were there any NBA players there other than Ray, Wade, LBJ and Fisher?

"Because like, you know, Lebron missed a shot in the middle of the second quarter during one of their regular season games. Forget stats, he missed that shot man. Kobe and Jordan would've made it. Lebron just sucks" - amos1er

You don't think he deserved MVP last season? After posting the 3rd highest PER in NBA history. Who deserved MVP then?

I can care less his per or his stats he plays for a all star team who would win 50 games without him. Melo n harden are my mvps

isn't the MVP given to usually the best performing player. I mean his team finished first overall and Lebron was the best player last year.

how is that not an MVP season for him?

you could hypothesize on what teams can do with or without their star players but the matter of facts that Lebron's team was the best team overall in the league and was the best player in the league.

this is the same guy who said Melo has been a top 5 player in the league all but 2 seasons in the same thread where 70% of the posters said ZERO while some said that last season there was an argument (yes including the Knicks fans). Wouldn't respond to to him hahaha
