Offer sheet. RFA, meaning Hawks can match. I doubt they will though. Might wait and have Jennings renounced by the Bucks so we can most likely sign him for cheap, if that is the direction they want to go.

Maybe they do the rumored sign and trade between teague and jennings?

What's better?

Jennings/Ellis
Or
Teague/Mayo

Just re-shuffling the deck chairs. Both hawks and bucks are perfect examples of teams just standing around not really doing anything.

For the hawks though millsap is an upgrade over Smith

Sounds like it's still possible for now, but once Teague actually signs the offer sheet they can't S+T anymore.

IMO, a Jennings/Teague swap is a good fit for both teams. Jennings is a better PnR player, which a duo of Jennings/Horford would likely be better for Horford.

Even if we can't sign and trade, Bucks would drop the rights to Jennings and we could work a smaller deal out with him as an unrestricted FA.

And if Monta Ellis chooses ATL then what for Jennings??

Thought it was Teague for Ellis ? Heard the Hawks want to make Ellis a scoring PG

I highly doubt that. smith is a the far superior defensive player and millsap really slipped last year on offense

I don't know if you realize how bad Josh Smith was last season..... Paul Millsap is a much safer player at this point.

I don't like Jennings. Such an inefficient offensive player

Id give the bucks a deal for Jennings if I were the Knicks.

I just watched so many games where millsap just didn't even show up. his stats look nearly the same but the hustle stats just weren't there. plus at best he is an average defender so not sure how he fits with horford. The key will be josh smith if he decides after getting his contract he is happy or if he is happy to finally leave atlanta

Really hope Jennings is gone... him leaving the team is something that should have happened last year (and maybe even the year before that).

Id give up Raymond Felton and Andrea Bargnani if STAT could play.

Solid pickup. But really think lateral improvement at best..

Jennings has a horrid jumper and I dont know how many times I've seen him shoot around 30%. Teague could be a n upgrade over jennings for a fraction of the price.

Teague cant shoot either 35% from 3 pointer. My question is if Ellis and Jennings leaves the Bucks who the hell is going to score for them besides OJ Mayo..

Is this the Jennings trade that was talked about? Have both teams agreed to not match?

I will laugh if they do Jennings and Monta in Atlanta

Neither of them are a good fit with Horford because Al is a PF

Anything is better than Jennings. People calling this a lateral move are incorrect. I'd rather have Teague and Mayo over Jennings and Ellis.

i dont understand the lateral move comments either... the bucks if they get teague are going to have a solid squad next year and if teague shoots 35% from 3 thats what jennings shoots from everywhere lol(40.9 i think). Plus we got luke for a back up pg and our 2nd rd pick looks to be a solid combo gaurd at worst! our biggest whole if we get teague is our sf position which we would probaly start delfino right now but got the kid from greece who should get some pt this season also weve got Ersan who we can trade yet because we have Henson behind him who showed tons of promise in the limited pt he got last year also have udoh we can toss in since we signed zaza! if we trade ersan and or udoh for a sf or the greek kid lives up to his potential we have a very nice squad and have improved majorly over our team from last season. but any back court is better than 2 guards who struggle to shoot 40%

teague/ridnour/wolters
mayo/delfino/wolters
delfino/kid from greece
ilyasova/henson/udoh
sanders/zaza/udoh

our biggest whole is the 3 and we've got pieces we can afford to move to get a 3...
also seen on espn on best/worst offseasons bucks were one of em but our team will be better and alot younger next year and if sanders keeps improving along with henson getting consistent playing time and putting up numbers like he did last year we should be in good shape for the next couple years!

plus we gave up a 2nd for wolters with our pick this year and a 2nd for luke but got 2 2nds in the redick trade so i dont think its been an bad offseason at all

If Hawks are interested with Ellis?? they should resign Teague and sign Ellis for 10M/yr contract.. Teague is less 2M cheaper than Jennings..
