@ESPNSteinLine: Hearing Devin Harris is on his way back to Dallas. Mavericks and Harris are closing in on three-year, $9+ million deal

Calderon, Harris, Larkin? Hopefully Larkin gets a chance.

Looks like we won't even give Larkin a shot.. Just trade dirk away for the year and get some draft picks for next year, give him the nudge nudge wink wink and sign him back next year. Tank this year to try to get a shot at wiggins and sign 2 superstars plus dirk next summer. One can envision!

It's part of THE masterplan.

Masterplan was Dwight and Deron/CP3 in Dallas. Backup was either-or. Backup backup was Iggy, or Smith, maybe Rondo. Time goes by, championship becomes just a memory, and mavs lose any strength to pull big names in free agency.

Mavs are sure paying a lot to be mediocre

Well beyond the fact they dont need all these average PG"s that's a good deal for Harris, hes really gone under the radar last few yrs, he was BEASTING a few yrs back

Yepp, while there's still Dirk and Marion right now. Wait 'till those years are gone too, what should be even worse then for recruiting, but Lakers aren't doing any better right now, except they really get LeBron someday. Back in the day, when Dallas was a young, new, frsh team, they at least had talent with a young Kidd, Jackson and another few dudes. Where is this talent now?

WTF are the Mavs doing exactly? I'm pretty sure they have Larkin and Mekel on their squad.

It looks like Cuban is becoming a penny pinching control freak.

I wouldn't be surprised if he sold the team in the next 3-5 years.

They are going to play Harris at SG

That team is going to be so disappointing next season with no shot at Wiggins or Parker. Cuban really screwed the pooch.

That's a terrible idea though.

Yea might want someone who can actually ya know "Shoot" to play the position. Harris playing SG has dud written all over it.

No..?

Yes you did. In my Dallas Mavericks thread you got on me for being a Clippers fan questioning the Mavs.

Whatever happened to Devis Harris. DUde was a beast the first season on NJN and showed a lot of promise in Dallas as well. Imagine the guy ressurecting into a star next season, that would be nice to see. Overall tho, Dallas, my goodness it has been the worst downfall from a championship Ive ever seen.
