am I the only guy who thinks this guy doesn't look like a real person. When I saw him playing having no idea who he was he looked like a generic NBA 2k Myplayer guy.

he's randomly pretty decent tho have no idea who he is

Nice pick-up to come off the bench.

He was terrific for them in the playoffs, was hoping OKC could sign him if Dorell Wright signs elsewhere. Good 3 and D guy if he plays as hard as he did when he go there last year, good fit and floor spacer.

Run of the mill role player.

I guess this is thread-worthy at this time of the year.

Decent Swingman and inexpensive re-acquisition - this was something we needed on the roster.

Wow I didn't think he'd be that cheap! Would have lived him in Memphis

 happy to see it. He's smart, plays good defense, and can hit 3s. Good player to have in general, but even better on a team with Dwight.

Great pick up. He was a lot of fun to watch in the playoffs and he will only get better.

Because they waived Delfino and Brooks, they can't re-up those guys, but Garcia was a team option

No they declined his team option. It was for around $6.5 million. They signed him for about $1 million per year.

He can defend wings very well, he is long, and can hit 3's. This is an amazing cheap steal of a deal for this guy. Very underrated acquisition in terms of bench depth.

Great pickup for the Rockets. The guy would not play one game, and then play great in the next like it was nothing. He's obviously a role player, but a role player that can play 30 minutes in a game if he plays well. He's not a one dimensional player.

Agreed. I really like Garcia's size as a SG. 6'7" is nice.

We'll have his bird rights by 2014 vso he'll get paid in the future. That's the reason he re-signed

Me too, I hate Brooks gone again but I guess that move was best for the team

Maybe Brooks would want to come back for the minimum.

He will be a nice piece off the bench for us. Cheap, too.

Not exactly an all star but a very solid role player. As long as he can remain healthy he will be useful off the bench

i would love to have Brooks back but he won't get any PT with Lin and Beverly on the team. and we're better saving our min for a player that will actually get PT. that's too bad tho cause I love Brooks too.

on the side note...Landry was a FA and he just signed with the Kings. Too bad we couldn't bring him back. would love him as a Rockets again.

Lin and Beverly were on the team last year too and Brooks still got playing time. He will still get some PT even with Bev and Lin this year. He provides instant offense, that is always needed, especially if we run a less up-tempo offense. Our offense will need more slashers like Brooks. He would fit in well.

As far as Garcia, it's so nice to get such a versatile player for so cheap. People forget how good he has been at times in his career. Why do people assume he is a scrub?
