Fantastic trade by Utah who had to spend $24 million for a legal roster and wanted to play their youth this year anyway.

Interesting for GS who had to renounce Jack and Landry for this deal. So they lose contributors Jack, Rush, Landry, Jefferson and Biedrins all for Iggy.

Jefferson and Biedrins were criminally overpaid scrubs. I liked Rush but he's coming off the second ACL tear of his career. Jack and Landry are the real loss, especially Landry but they're both easily replaced with cheaper options. As for the picks, they're going to be well outside the top 10. And we can buy/trade for better.

We traded away our two worst (and most overpaid players) along with Rush for the best player on the Nuggets roster, arguably the best perimeter defender in the game and an outstanding athlete.

If we can manage to get some depth with our bigs we'll be set.

Regardless of how bad you think Biedrins is, your coaching staff relied on Biedrins last season. 10mpg is a decent amount. Same for RJ. He's not great, but he is experienced.

Losing Landry is huge. He was your post offense outside of often injured Bogut. And Jack was massive. He ran the point so much so Curry could spot up and a great pg when Curry needs a break.

I think GS has more great players now, but they lost key, experienced role players. They need to hit home runs with the minimum contracts they still have to give out.

Warriors should have tried to get in on the KG-Pierce deal.

GS gets: F Paul Pierce, C Kevin Garnett
BOS gets: C Andris Biedrins, F Richard Jefferson, G Brandon Rush, G/F Draymond Green, C Festus Ezeli

Then GS would still have max cap space to spend next offseason - even more if KG retires after 1 more year.

Curry
Thompson
Pierce/Barnes
KG/Lee
Bogut

Re-sign Jack and that rotation is ****ing loaded.

They only relied on Biedrins because they had no other options, who else was going to play back up to Ezeli? And if we're paying him a gazillion dollars a minute he better do something. You could argue a case for him being the worst active big man in the league. As soon as Bogut was back Biedrins was lucky to play.

RS is below average. Again, easily replaced by much cheaper players.

Both of those guys are high-end D-leaguers, low-level NBA players at best.

Losing Landry is huge. He was your post offense outside of often injured Bogut.

I think you'll find David Lee has some decent post offense. But you're right, Landry was a big part of our 2nd unit offense, but again, you're overrating him, he's not the second coming of Tim Duncan, he's a slightly above average player. Again, you can find guys just as good for much cheaper.

And Jack was massive. He ran the point so much so Curry could spot up and a great pg when Curry needs a break.

Yes. And now Iggy is going to fulfill that role, he's just as good a play maker and passer. In fact compare the two last season, Iggy had the better Assist/Bad Pass ratio and he had a similar amount of assists overall.

Again, Jack is replaceable. We lost a lot of games due to his tunnel vision. There are cheaper options that are just as good.

I think GS has more great players now, but they lost key, experienced role players. They need to hit home runs with the minimum contracts they still have to give out.

True, we need to get some good minimum contract players. But we're still 2.8 mil under and will have 20 mil in trade exceptions. So we should be able to get something.

And when everyone is healthy our 8 man rotation will be deadly, Curry - Klay - Iggy - Lee - Bogut - Barnes - Ezeli - Green.

Whether you want to discount it or not, 10mpg is still almost an entire quarter of basketball. That is how much RJ and Biedrins played this year. Ezeli is out injured for a while. Don't get me wrong, I think GS is good, but you have zero depth. Its a great lineup for the playoffs but can those guys make it for 82 plus playoffs? I don't see it.

This is exactly not what I said. If you read the forum you will see there is mass agreement with the guy saying "I want Curry to get hurt."

It takes a special kind of fan to wish injury, but the Jazz fans are full of them.

Here is the thread if the NBA forum wants to see.

The need for your own self validation is pathetic.

"Here everybody look at what all the bad people over there are saying about my injury prone team!"

No one gives a **** about that, or your opinion at this point. Quite trying to get people in trouble and quit trying to make it sound like your innocent. No one cares.
