There are reports he wants to play 2 more years and he is not returning to the Clippers nor the Pistons.

Does this guy have solid value around the league or to your team?
I think he can be valuable 5th guard in the rotation. A player coach type who can help teach younger guards in a winning situation.

I think Billups would be a nice 5th guard in GS, but I see Miami quietly stepping in here over the Nets' and Cavs efforts.

Thoughts?

He will probably sign with the Heat.

No way of knowing really, he was pretty good when he played, until the post season showed up. Part me wishes he stayed injured as to not mess with continuity but oh well. I wish he would come back as a reserve

Nets are possibility for him , considering his strong friendship with KG ,and their needs for a backup PG .

He'll end up in Miami. Seems like that's the place to be for aging vets who can still produce in a limited capacity/role.

Either Nets or Heat as mentioned above.

He'd be perfect for Heat or Nets.

He's already in LA I wouldn't rule out Lakers. There's a report that Barnes is coming back to Lakers.....

I've read Lakers or Clippers, so who knows.

I could see him go to the Spurs, 2 years would be perfect too, as that's when the Spurs start to fully rebuild after retirements

Cp3 loves Billups, I'm surprised we're letting him walk. I wonder how much he is looking for.

He'd fit in Houston especially if they trade Lin.

He's insane if he thinks hes more than a vet min player at this point.

Nets, Heat, maybe Lakers?
Would he fit with the Pacers?

like others are saying, nets and heat make the most sense.

at this point in his career, he cannot play heavy minutes. combine that with there chances of going for a title and other ball handlers on the team to lessen the load, its the best matches possible.

i'd love him back on the nuggets even though i doubt he'd come back to a team that traded him twice, even if it is where his family lives and his hometown. Still he is a coach on the floor and any team that gets him has a chance to sell him on a FO or coaching job after he retires.

I think he'd be good in OKC taking the role Derek Fisher was playing.

I don't see the need for Billups even if Miami uses the amnesty on Miller.

I think he's pretty much done, but I'd guess the Rockets as his destination.

He already said he wants to play for MIAMI. I think he'll go there.
