View Full Version : Where will Bynum sign?

Figure it'd be a good idea to give him a thread to himself.

There are a few things that could play out.

1. He gets a high priced deal. Maybe 3 or 4 year deal with the first 2 guaranteed at 15mil and the last two being team options. Something along those lines.

2. He refuses to show what he can do for anyone which scares all teams from making a big offer. He's then left with a 1 year deal at the minimum or a mini-midlevel at best.

3. Teams desperate in need of star power and luring a big name will throw caution to the wind and sign him.

For scenario 1., I believe he'll wind up with one of the losers of the Howard sweepstakes (Dallas, Houston, or even a possible return to LAL).

For scenario 2., I could see him signing with Miami, OKC, or maybe the Spurs if they don't think his personality is a risk.

For scenario 3., I could see a team like Charlotte or Milwaukee going after him. Not to say they will throw a reckless contract at him, but they might take a chance, even if Bynum refuses to work out for teams as been mentioned.

My Wild Card is Portland since they've been looking for a Center for a couple years now.

How does everyone see this playing out?

he is refusing to work out for teams so he wont get more than a 1 yeard deal with team options at best. He is giving it away that he is still hurt. I know Portland is hesistent to sign him but if hey dont get Pek they should target Bynum on a 1 year deal with team options for a 2nd and 3rd year.

Who do actually think signs him well that would be Dallas.

i think the best offer he will get is 2 year, team option 3rd...around 11 mil each year.

there will be a team to take a chance on him...could easily see a team take him that no one is expecting, i.e. the bobcats or something (kemba, henderson, mkg, zeller, bismack, bynum...not too shabby)

no where if he's not going to work out for teams before hand, or China.

Deep down in my soul I feel like Bynum is tryna pull a scare tactic on teams just so he can sign with the heat or okc idk why I just feel it

If Oden doesn't go to the Heat and Dallas doesn't throw big $$ at Bynum than I believe hr will be a new member of the Heat

Dallas. They are going after Howard and have to have a backup.

I think he goes there or overseas to be honest, he is quite the headcase.

LAL doesn't have the cap room to sign anyone except for a on a mini mid-level. So LAL is out of the question unless they shed some salaries, my friend.

Good, I don't want him back. Exhausting having to worry if his knees will hold up every game..
