don't know if the Knicks can afford him. would really solidify Pacers as an elite defensive team. still thinks he stays with the Grizzlies.

thoughts?

Lol Pacers need to get somebody who can score!! They already play defense really well. They don't need another player who will average 6pts in 30 mins of play every night.

Why would the Knicks want him? Unless they plan on moving Shump permanently to the 3, but still, they need wing scorers, not defensive perimeter guys. Same sort of goes for the Pacers.

I think he'll ultimately stay with the Griz

the Knicks perimeter defense is one of their weakness, one of their biggest ones actually. Outside of Shump the Knick guards would get torched. Also, the Knicks need to get more athletic. He would essentially be what the Knicks were looking for when they signed Ronnie Brewer last off season. Could also mean, in combination of drafting Hardaway Jr, that JR will not be back.

This. Only way I see him making ANY sense is if they trade shump which doesn't make sense

Don't really see the use for him on the Knicks unless the Knicks are preparing to trade shump.....

Of course the Bucks want more defense even though we can't score for S**t anyways

our perimeter defense is our weak point. chandler been in so much bad spots due to guards getting blown by other guards

tony allen would be much needed on this team. due to the fact his FT percentage has improved and he's great at attacking the basket

Pacers getting him will not be fair.

Indy needs to go at him hard. If they can get TA and bring back West then that team is scary good. Don't forget Granger's return...

Pacers can be considered Memphis east.

Of course Allen going to Pacers would help them out a lot, but I feel that they need a pg or sg that can score with ease and create.

If we did by chance get Allen, then the front office must have confidence that we can move at least one of our current wings. We have a log jam of wings as it is considering we just drafted another one. I think it's safe to say Sam Young is gone and I really hope we can find somebody to take Gerald Green off our hands. We obviously still need a backup PG and I also wouldn't mind a shooter like Korver.
