He will derail Drummond.

Or he'll make him a better player?

League exec: "If Sheed is serious, he can teach Drummond the game. He knows it." #Pistons

How many techs will he get from the bench?

He will derail Drummond.

Pistons actually want him to mentor Drummond.

Sheed wouldn't be detrimental to anyone's development. He's a champion and was a very good player, with limited athletic skills. He could really tutor Drummond on how to play the mental game.

President of Basketball Operations Joe Dumars said it is a “good possibility” Wallace will be coming in to work with the Pistons’ young forwards.

Wallace, Dumars and new head coach Maurice Cheeks have been having long discussions to determine whether Wallace knows exactly how much work an assistant coach job entails and whether he can do it.

“Mo came to me and said, ‘I’ve got this crazy idea, man,’” Dumars recalled, “and he said what it was, and I said, ‘I think it could be great, man.’ I said, ‘But we have to talk. We have to have some long talks.’ That’s what’s happening as we speak.”

A 16-year NBA veteran, Wallace was a four-time All-Star and a part of Detroit’s 2004 championship team.

Wallace, who criticized officials and racked up over 300 technical fouls in his career, is often known for his fiery attitude as much as his basketball ability.

“I don’t think anybody has ever doubted his IQ and his intelligence,” Dumars said. “You don’t doubt that. You just can’t get ejected from the bench.

“But I think with some young bigs like this, I think that kind of knowledge and personality could be good for them,” Dumars added

:laugh2: I love it.
