With the Sixers getting Noel what do you think will happen with Bynum? Do you think he will go back to Philly or sign somewhere else? Maybe if the Lakers lose Howard he will go back to LA. What do you think?

I am a big Bynum fan and have no issues with what he did last year and still wanted us to bring him back... With that being said if we do now I will be super pissed after the great move we just made in trading Holiday. We need to lose and get a lottery pick...Winning would be bad...We are a contender with Bynum/Holiday...We are not a contender with just one...Even with we are not a threat to the heat so no. Save the money and lose

I don't think they had any plan to bring him back unless he would settle for a 1-2 year deal.

Now they have no reason to bring him back because they are tanking. Even if they could get him to a one year deal and then try to trade him at the deadline that wouldn't be wise if they want to tank.

I'm also one of the few Sixers fans who was okay with bringing him back and trying to win.

After today, it's absolutely clear we're playing for next year's draft and rebuilding. He almost certainly won't be back.

Whether we S+T him or he walks will just depend on other teams and where he wants to go.

Whoever misses out on Howard I'd say (Houston/Dallas).

Bynum signs a 2yr deal ( players option to opt out after 1st yr ) with a contender. Bynum needs to play 20min a night, but still has to put up decent numbers... So it has to be a contender that needs help in the middle.

No one in the management would listen to a guy who didnt even play and isnt even on the team anymore.

Since Houston and Dallas are fighting over Dwight I could see Atlanta picking Bynum up which would get Horford back to the 4 spot.

He needs to go to PHX for 1 year to rebuild his stock and to use their training staff to get healthy;u let Len develop and bulk up .

Please let it be San Antonio so we are both happy?

As a Laker fan, I would'nt mind Bynum coming back there on a year deal with plenty of incentives. If it's any more than a one year deal no thanks.

But then again if he does really well, they would be under pressure to sign him to a huge long term deal. Don't like this guy long term with his injury history.

I'm gonna take the road less travelled here and go out on a limb since too many replies are still positive on Bynum's future.

No team in their right mind "should" sign this scrub - it's almost as stupid an acquisition as the Houston Rockets drafting Royce White.

I'm thinking Evans and Bynum is who the Hawks will end up with along with Horford.

i could see cleveland taking a 2 year chance...

i think thats all he'll get, IMO....2 years, around 11-12 each year, maybe team options for 3rd year.

Why are people killing Bynum but giving Rose a pass or vica versa. Both guys sat out the entire season for health reasons, and are being killed for it.

They won't keep Bynum, and they will regret it. Honestly, I'd give Bynum the max as long as it included some previous injury protections.

I'd take it a step further and package my 2 selections in next years draft and Richardson's bad deal for a proven PG like Rondo. Rondo, Evans, Young, Hawes, and Bynum... with Williams and Noel coming off the bench could be championship level lineup.

All this intentionally being garbage stuff never pans out in the NBA because the lottery.

I thought about this at first but there is a slight difference... Rose didn't go bowling to re-aggravate his injury.

Bynum's a scrub, Rose at least has good work ethic - though he has no mental confidence in his knee; otherwise he would have played a couple of minutes a night just to shake off some ring-rust.

Why would he go and play for coach Brown again?

They weren't exactly on the same page when both were at the Lakers

What about signing for the MLE with the Heat and resting up till the playoffs? They obviously need help down low. Play him 10-15 minutes per game until the playoffs and build his minutes up to 25-30 depending on how healthy he is.

I think Cuban is setting his eyes on Bynum. If he fails to land Dwight, he'll go after Bynum as a consolation prize (And watch how he's gonna throw a ridiculous amount at Bynum).

Miami should seek out a sign and trade, Bosh for Bynum.

I read awhile back that Morey said he would offer Bynum a Max deal, I hope that was 100% false!

Man if the Heat can pick up Bynum, that would be nasty! It would officially be no contest, as long as he can stay healthy, which is tough for him! Bynum at 85% is pretty much the best center in the NBA, if you don't believe me, see 2012.

NO way man! Why would they give up their only all-star big for a center who might not play ever again? I would love to get him for our MLE which is the best we can offer but in reality it's not gonna happen. When you have spenders like Cuban in the league, you know Bynum still has a chance to shock the world.

If Houston misses out, Josh Smith would be their 2nd choice..
If Dallas misses out, Andrew Bynum would be their 2nd choice..
