Spurs: 14-2 in potential series-clinching games played on the road since 2002-03 postseason. Rest of NBA: 61-75. Wow that's one hell of a stat. Miami is about to get no lubed in game 6.

I just saw this tweet too. Its something to think about. The odds are against The Heat.. But they play their best basketball when their backs are against the wall. So we'll have to see..

Sticking to my prediction!: Spurs in 6

I had same prediction . My issue is the media like the crew tonight were talking as if the Spurs had no chance. We've known since this Heat team was formed that a team like the Spurs would pick them apart in the finals.

i don't think so, refs are going to force game 7, unless spurs go stupid behind the ARK where the refs can't call offensive fouls.

Stats like these don't mean much to me. It's the finals with two world class teams. All stats go out the window after tip off. The best team will win the series period.

This is going 7

this series has been determined by the bit players making shots. Just depends whose are clicking that night. Could end in 6, but just as easily go 7 IMO.

Miami is gonna win the next game.

But I think their gonna celebrate too soon after that game and then SAS will spank them in game 7.

I honestly see Tim Duncan going off, Manus had his game, Green and Neal have had theirs, and TP had his in game 1. Its Tim's team and it is his time to shut this door closed. I see him having a 20-13-4 block type game if the spurs win game 6, which i think they will

I believe the Spurs are closing this thing out and I'll be rooting for them to do it!

He had 20-14-3 with 5 assists in the first game of the series. 17-12-3 tonight. If 20-13-4 is Duncan 'going off' then we've pretty much already seen it. Dude's been good.

I sure hope they can continue. They've ended all of their series on the road this year, won 2 in Memphis who (I think) hadn't lost back to back home games in months and of course won 2 in that crazy atmosphere in GS. It is definitely possible, but won't be easy by any means.

Would like to see it since I said Spurs in 6, I think SA's better shot to win this is in game 6, the heat will not lose a game 7 at home.

I'm cheering for the spurs, but I've learned not to count out miami yet. The only game that matters right now is the one happening on tuesday, not any of the ones that have happened before

Spurs are going into game 6 with the must win mentally. They don't want a game 7 so as much as the heat are gonna come out strong so will the spurs. Game 6 of the dallas series I think the heat fell apart hopefully they learned from that mistake that year.

I agree. Spurs are a different animal, they have been there and done that, and history has proven they know how to step on the throats when they have the opposition on the ropes better than maybe any team in NBA history. I don't think Spurs are getting near enough respect when it comes to chance to win game 6.

Spurs gotta give it all they got game 6 and finish the heat. I'm sure they already know it'll be very hard to win a game 7 at the heat's home court.

I expect the spurs to go into game 6 with it being a game 7 for them and how Dallas went into game 6 in Miami in 2011 up 3-2. These teams learned from Boston in 2010 game 6 who pretty much gave the game away by not coming out trying to get the win knowing they had another game and thus ended up losing.

How many times have the Spurs won 3 games before there competition did and not won the series?
I don't think it has happened for them. That is similar to MJ's Bulls.

If the spurs play a low mistake game they have a real shot at winning game 6. They made some mistakes late in game 5 and their big lead saved them. Can't afford to do that in a tight game.

Minimal turnovers and the spurs got this.

Expect Stern to announce Joey Crawford as the only referee for games 6 and 7.

I originally called spurs in 6 and I'm sticking to it... I remember being riduculed by some heat fans about how the spurs were old and were not as much of a challenge as Indiana was...

I wonder where those posters are now???

I think the old card is overplayed. As long as a players game isn't all based on athleticism and they aren't injury prone, they are still good well into their 30s. More experience makes them better in many ways.

Mia has been playing with fire since the Indy series. They played with fire last year against Boston and Indy. I think its about time someone shows up and burns 'em. Who is more equipped to do that than Pop, Timmy D and co.?

I said if before this series has been highly predicable someone on this site asked me to say what will happen for the remainder of the series (this was after game 4.

I said Spurs win big (so maybe I didn't nail that but they where in control), Heat big in game 6, and Heat close in game 7. The Heat do not lose games they want to win, they just don't always want to win.

This Heat team is one of the most arrogant teams I've come across in a while--thinking they can turn it on and off whenever they please. It's worked out quite well for them so far, but I think they've finally met their match. The Spurs have too many weapons and wont succumb to inexperience/intimidation. Like D-Leethal said, the Spurs burn the Heat tomorrow and close this out.
