after watching most of this series and seeing how much the heat is struggling, would it be fair to say the spurs are a real test to the greatness that is Miami??? nothing against okc i think they will win one or more chips in the future but they're a young bunch. These spurs are a battle-tested bunch filled with veterans and hard working role players. thoughts??

Yes, absolutely. LeBron has come up small every moment of his career except last year. He's nothing more than a Dirk.

Even though your Knicks are in the East?

Series isn't over. Miami gets the calls every game. It's not going to be easy for SA to close out on the road. In the end the league decides who win, just like last year.

I think they got lucky with their opponent. The Thunder were young and stupid

I think he's referring to the cakewalk the Heat had in rounds 1 and 2.

That had nothing to do with the Knicks, Pacers or Celtics.

Truth is, we may see the Bulls, Pacers or Knicks emerge next year. Heat suck bro.

They've made it to the finals 3 years in a row.

Its not a fluke that they're good.

and I'm a Knicks fan from the 90's. The Miami Heat are our Rivals. Since 2003, I was more of a Melo fan and hated Lebron.

And I can tell you right now that the Heat are NOT a fluke.

3 STRAIGHT FINALS. Won 1 and have pushed the other 2 to 6 games.

this is exactly what in trying to say. no experience. this miami team should not be trailing the spurs in the series talent-wise and there on the brink of losing.

You can't make the finals 3 years in a row and be considered a fluke. They may just end up running into a really hot Spurs team though.

Stupid thread. Nba is about matchups. Heat aren't a fluke

I can't see the Knicks winning a title til LeBron retires or suffers a season ending injury.

The Heat are still going to win games 6 and 7. Lol

Yea I can't believe they are even relevant. I thought for sure LeBron was talking about not 7, 8 or 9 lottery draft picks.

This. Stern and the refs wont let Miami go out in 6 if "the boys" who call the shots want Miami to win they will win. Unless Lebron or Miami did something to piss off "the boys".

You are underestimating the Spurs and their coach if you thought Miami would have a cake walk.

I don't think it was a fluke but I don't think last years heat beat this years spurs, they didn't beat the mavs and I don't see them beating the championship lakers or celtics teams. I think they got lucky that the West was weak last year. No way they beat most of the teams that have come out of the west the last 10 years.

DODGERS&LAKERS
06-17-2013, 12:10 AM
No it is not a fluke. They played and beat every team in front of them. Cant ask for anything more. You cant win every year. And this year is not over yet. If they come back we will be asking if them losing that first time was a fluke
