Hey Lebron haters, you have an excuse if Miami win game 4 and you have something to brag about if they don't... lucky you.

All sides can come to a myriad of excuses why they won/lost. Nothing new there

There best player might not play........how is that an exuse. It's not like its Manu for it not to be that important.

"You wouldn't have won if Tony wasn't injured", you know, that old trick.

And Tony isn't their best player, Timmy is.

Glad he should be able to play. He isn't the reason they will win the series. Not guarding Neal, Leonard and Green has sealed Miami's fate up to this point.

*slight sprain* sounds pretty mild to keep someone out of the finals to me as well

He only has a slight hamstring strain. He's going to play. I'm sure Wade wish he did not have a bone bruise in his right knee.

Heat catch a huge break if Parker can't play.

It's a Grade 1 strain. So it's not a tear of any sort which is always good. Spurs say he's day to day I believe just for the hell of it. But I highly doubt he doesn't play. He did some stretching during today's practice session, he'll take it easy today.

Parker is not even hurting Miami (no offense SA fans). I think SA would be fine without him if he didn't play. but I expect him to play.

Ya, these are usually a 2-5 day resting period. I see him playing, but lets just hope it doesn't get worse from playing.

Miami focuses on him a lot when he's on the floor. Most of the attention is on Parker. So if he misses game 4, which i doubt, spurs are going to struggle.

Most of the posters don't realize what is actually going on in a game. They all just look at stats and blah blah LeBron and Parker suck blah blah. They don't realize that most of S.A. offence is coming from Parker getting trapped.

Rest him. Spurs have already proven they're more than capable with him on the bench.

agree. worse case scenario retire after beating the heats. and walk out as finals mvp

He will play.

Anyone else think that his comments to the media is to mess with Miami's game plan. If he doesn't play (which apparently is a possibility), MIA would have to change everything on how they defend the Spurs.

Dude is 31, he's not going to retire for a Grade 1 hamstring strain.

He'll be fine, GAme 4 of the Finals, I doubt that's missed due to an injury like this. Game 4 has his name all over it, Heat are going to be focused and sticking to the 3-pt shooters, giving Tony & Timmy a lot of room to operate with the lanes having lots of room.

it's not even a question if parker will play, he will for sure. a strain isn't gonna keep him out of an nba finals game.

Ah ok. I don't think it's even that serious to worry about re-injuring. It's more so just pain he'll have to play through, not a tear or something that could get worse

What are you talking about? The bet was the grizzles will beat the heat. Did the heat beat the grizzles for me to put up the sig?

That's actually pretty good news. Far less serious than some of the sports talk radio drama queens had intimated.

He won't recover fully during the series but it's not serious enough to prevent him from playing. He'll play and get treatment during games and in between games.

Even if he plays and Miami wins, the excuse will be that he wasn't 100%. Miami would never have won if TP was 100%.

That being said, I don't think there is much of a shot he does not play.
