So you're saying Heat is going to have one more good year and then they are done?

jjspoelstra

No, I'm saying they are going to have one more good year during the playoffs
Other teams are going to overtake them, due to the aging of Dwayne Wade, and eventually LeBron James will be stuck in a "Carry the Team all by Myself" position again.
And he won't be able to win a Finals like that, unless he changes teams, in which case the heat would also be done.

and you also have the Wizards in the ECF over the Bulls?

The young #3 seed team of John Wall, Bradely Beal, and Otto Porter upset the #2 seeded Bulls in 6

I'm sorry but that will never happen, especially if Rose comes backs the way hes suppose to, Noah is still on the team, and Thibs is their coach.

Crazier things have happened, plus, derrick has a high change of sustaining small injuries over the course of the season and playoffs that effect the teams performance

So this is what came out when you played 2k association for 5 seasons?

How do you figure? John Wall is injury prone if not more than Drose. Theres a reason why he took the entire year off, so he doesn't have any lingering injuries for next year like he did last year.

This thread is ridiculous IMO. Who knows what team Curry will be on in 5 years? What if Dwight goes back to L.A.? What if Love gets traded the Cavs... There's just to much that this thread doesn't explain.

If the Rockets land white Howard in free agency I think the rockets have a chance to win a title or two same thing goes for whoever Chris Paul goes to that's my wildcard

too many factors including injuries and potential trades to really predict the next 5 years, as well as the departure of David Stern.

One key thing which is going under the radar is Jay-Z and getting a client like a Durant and how the league will change - post Stern. Simply put, the bigger markets will have a increased role in the determination of the league and how dollars will be disbursed. While the Heat are a factor now, ownership will see a financial shift and can not afford to keep its "star" players for a period of over 5 years if they do NOT acquire a big TV deal.

While fans will hate the major markets and the ability to scoop up "stars", the reality is those are the only franchises that can keep this league afloat and keeping teams like a New York, Brooklyn, Chicago, Boston and LA relevant is the only way moving forward the NBA will be profitable regardless of fan approval or lack there of.

2013-2014 HEAT wins it all
2014-2015 HEAT wins it all
mini War cuts season in half ( then the season ends with no champion ).
2016-2017 ...The NBA has one of their teams, play globally games; this team will be the HEAT ( HEAT beats the world )
2018-2019 New super Laker team comes into the world tournament, and they win it all ( Refs! )... ( Also World War 3 happens, after Lakers win... California will crack also.

KD wins all the normal NBA championships, when the HEAT move on to global play.

Just a few things:

Where are my Lakers? lol
Who is on that Cavs team?
The Heat thing I kind of agree with. Barring key acquisitions this summer, I think this is Miami's last run. Indiana, Chicago will continue to get better & better.
Wizards? Ehhh.
But with all that said, I do enjoy threads like this. Good stuff.

To me this is slightly more realistic. OKC will eventually crack through & when they do, I def think they can repeat. Three-peat? I'll say nah. But I find this more realistic.

History will remain the same. For the past 20 plus years the only team to win a championship from the West has been the Lakers or a Texas team. Fact and reality

Simply put the Bulls, Lakers, and OKC take turns. With a * next to OKC because with KD on Roc nation now it's not hard for me to imagine he might bounce for the bright lights eventually...
