View Full Version : After watching this year's playoffs, do ppl still believe that NY is better than IND?

NY was the better regular season team as evidenced by their #2 seed.
IND dispatched of them pretty easily in the 2nd round, but Melo & Co. kept insisting they were the better team.

IND took my Heat to 7, where we finally said enough is enough and stopped toying around in game 7.
I felt we probably would've swept NY had we met, or at worst win in 5.

This says to me that IND is clearly better than NY.
Melo has peaked, while PG and Hibbert are on the rise and Granger didn't even play next season.

IND is the 2nd best team in the East IMO.

You're team is about to play in game 1 of the NBA Finals tonight and you choose to make a thread about two teams that are at home sitting on their couches already...UNREAL!

Trolls gonna troll I guess

The knicks play the same type of game Miami does except miami has better shooters. Pacers play the exact type of game that is the knicks/ Miami's weakness so when Pacers took Miami to 7, it pretty much solidified the fact that Indiana is slightly better than the knicks

it was 2 vs. 3 and they were like a game or two a part with their records. The Pacers handled them in the playoffs that made it very clear who the better team was.

I believe the Knicks are slightly better team, and that series should have went 7 games; but the Pacers showed up & the knicks didn't for one reason or another.

But the Pacers did proved me wrong that series... So congrats to them.

can you please explain the logic behind this post?
game 1 of the finals starting today has what effect on my ability to make posts on this forum exactly?

colinskik

If this year's Knicks team was playing like they are capable of playing, the NYK-IND series would've been much closer. The Knicks had injuries to some key players and just really shat the bed. If Tyson had shown up it would've been more competitive. If JR also showed up, the Knicks could have possbly taken the series.

And don't tell me IND was injured due to the absense of Granger. We've all seen that Paul George is all that Granger is and possibly more. I don't see them even moving forward with him on their team.

Without a doubt though IND proved to me they're a better team than I gave them credit for.

The point is why do you care about talking about two teams who are eliminated already? Go grab some beer or whatever it is you do before a game and get amped for your team defending it's crown....

If the Shoe was on the other foot I would give two ****s less about discussing Indy and Mia on a forum right about now!

No argument for what? you asked a question with a poll in it. No one is arguing anything, unless you think that there is a side to be argued in an opinion based question?

All biases aside, I think the Knicks should’ve taken that series. They just so happened to be playing some of their worst ball of the entire season.
