Because it isn't like the Heat beat them when they were fully healthy and LeBron has been playing some of the best basketball ever the past 2 seasons or anything.

Yeah the weekday games for the Finals have usually been at that time. It's probably because they want the west coast to be able to watch after work hours.

i think it'll be a very closely contested series but game 1 will be decided by 10+ points with these teams starting to feel each other out, and miami will either pick up where they left off in game 7, or show their fatigue a bit. with the spurs either being rusty or well rested and into it. i just think the potential for a not so close finish is there in this first one.

Spurs in 5/6. It'll be one of the better finals we've had recently!

Heat should thank Derrick Rose & Bulls injuries for them being in the finals the last 2 years...its aight tho. Spurs will win in 6

Why would the Heat thanks someone who can't even step on the floor after being cleared to play for like 3/4 months. Bulls got swept with the best of Derrick Rose. So GTFO!

GTFOH. Go masturbate to some Kobe posters. You aren't a Spurs fan.

Many thought this will be a close series, but I really think it's not, an early finish looms ahead.

I highly doubt this will be a anything close to being a sweep either way. This series is going to the limit IMO.

Funny thing is, the posters who are saying Spurs in 5 or 6 are the ones, if Spurs happen to lose, will start saying "well, Miami beat a old/beat up Spurs team, what's the big deal?" and "Refs gave Miami the series" etc.

The Spurs are good from top to bottom. They are at least 3x better than the Pacers. They have size and shooting. Not to mention a point guard that no one can stop. I'm no hater here, just want everyone to not be surprised if the Spurs romp them. If you guys liked what you saw from Hibbert, well Tim Duncan is the real effin deal and everyone is gonna find out why this guy hasn't lost in the finals. He's rested and rejuvenated.

Quietmoney
06-06-2013, 08:14 AM
If the Heat traps them the way they did the Pacers, they will bomb them with 3pt shots and Duncan will get the ball at the free throw line wide open. It's gonna be very interesting to see how Miami defends them. Miami can't guard one on one from the big man position or the point guard spot unless they trap. It worked against Indy because Paul George who is their best player had to guard Lebron and it takes a lot out of you. The Spurs are built different and have players with more assets to there game to go along with higher IQ and championship experience.

Long rest for the Spurs... could easily see the Heat pulling out tonight's game. I wouldn't be surprised if we see the Spurs a bit rusty with that long of a lay off.

I expect tonight to be mainly a feeling out process... the real ride starts with game 2. :)

I'm thinking the Knicks will get the sweep. They are just too hot this year. Melo will avg 40+ points and JR Smith will play like MJ on cocaine. KnICkS IN 4!!!!

Well, Kobephiles change their sigs/avis every day just like their panties. It's pathetic and pretty low how obsessed they are with being against LeBron, Wade, and Heat.

Why some heat fans are obsessed by the so called hate they got?

Don't you think maybe some NBA fans prefer to see SA win just because they're one of the two most winning teams of the past decade?

Or/and because Timmy, TP and Pop are great players and coach, winners, classy, because the spurs are beautiful to watch playing basketball with great ball movement and chemistry, and this could be their last shot to win it all?

No, some heat fans are obsessed by their team and themselves.

Go, get a life man.

06-06-2013, 09:39 AM
I can't believe so many people think the Spurs are winning in 6.

I think LeBron is gonna have one of the best finals ever. The Spurs age will show as the series goes on. Duncan and splitter can't pound the paint like Hibbert, and the heat could easily win game 1 by 10+

They lost 4 games and 4 months and the Pacers were able to beat them 2 out of 3. Who gives a ****, if Wade and Bosh play like ******* they aren't the same team that won 27 straight games and lost 4 in 4 months. They are the team that was 4-3 in their last 7 vs a much lesser team.

I think it's going to be close, every game very rarely do we see either team get blow out I expect games to be close like no more then 7 point every game. Even if the HEAT lose, the Knicks aren't hanging a banner at MSG. And I am a fan of one team and if my team doesn't win I don't take solace in another team losing, especially if my team is a two seed and gets bounced in the second round.

Apples and oranges. What I wrote under my name was to annoy just one person in particular. I didn't care either way if the Knicks lost. That doesn't affect what happens with the HEAT, you know the team I actually follow. I made a prediction that they would lose to the Pacers in six and they did. That doesn't mean I was rooting(sp) for the Pacers or against the Knicks, I just felt that the Pacers could win in six. Even if they didn't it wouldn't affect me. But he actually cares about the HEAT losing. He has equaled it to the Knicks winning. Isn't that pathetic for a fan to care just as much about another team?

Probably be on Parker

Both would be fun to watch. I trust Chalmers on Parker more than Manu though. Chalmers likes to put his hands down on D sometimes and Manu will kill you. At least if he is guarding Parker he will get help D on the drivies.

Remember when Melo teamed up with Amare with the hope they could get CP3 to join their superteam. Yeah I do too and I remember it failing miserably. Probably because CP3 realized that Melo doesn't have the talent to win a championship, too much of a choker.

Even if the HEAT lose, the Knicks aren't hanging a banner at MSG. And I am a fan of one team and if my team doesn't win I don't take solace in another team losing, especially if my team is a two seed and gets bounced in the second round.

Dont you have "Knicks Superfan!!!" under your PSD name? So unless your a Knicks fan (which I know you arent). I know damn well you take solace and general all out amusement from seeing the knicks lose

Haha I'm kind of the same way. It's 2 AM here in England. I used to stay up all the time watching Laker games that tip off at 3:30 AM, but these days sleep seems to catch me before the end of most games I watch. I'm only 24 and I can't seem to manage any late nights any more :p

Really looking forward to this series though. I think the Spurs will win in seven. Bosh and Wade just don't seem all there, Bosh seems a bit lost in his head and Wade doesn't seem healthy. LeBron may or may not take over completely, but even if he does I think the Spurs are too good all around to let one man beat them.

Plus, while I don't think Erik Spoelstra is a bad coach, he just doesn't compare to Gregg Popovich. Miami has the best player but the Spurs are deeper, smarter and better coached in my opinion.

EDIT: I think San Antonio has the better crowd as well, so it will be harder for Miami to win there than it will be for San Antonio to steal a road win.

DOUBLE EDIT: One last thing worth pointing out: If I'm not mistaken, we've heard the last of Reggie Miller for this season. So we're all winners there.
