In the long run which match would be the best chance to be more competitive and go past 5 games?

Lebron is fun to watch but I don't find the Heat's style of basketball interesting or entertaining. Give me the matchup that has Duncan banging down low with the best young big man in the game and George, Hill, and Stephenson's long arms against Parker, Ginobili, and Leonard.

I think Miami-SA would be more exciting, to be honest. I enjoy watching the Heat play, they're so captivating and simultaneously polarizing that they make great television.

Nothing against the Pacers-- Paul George is a stud-- but they aren't as exciting. Plus, Miami-SA would be a better draw, I think.

I prefer it to be Indy, although I do not expect them to win Game 7 in Miami.

Even though I'm routing for Indy I think SA v MIA would be more fun.

sas-mia would be cooler for the history books when people go back and study individual legacies and transition periods/passing of the guard. but indiana/sas would be a great series too.

I don't care for either, really. The only reason I'll watch most of the games, or at least some of them, is out of respect for the game, less so out of respect for the teams.

I've been reppin' hibbert and the pacers and vogel, so it was disappointing to see hibbert rant like that.

I'm not looking for 'role models' much less saints, but how about not being verifiably, certifiably, unambiguously stupid.

It seems like it's too much to ask for these days. No homo.

Better overall series as far as pure basketball probably SAS and Indy. Better for Ratings SAS and Miami. Hoping for a SAS and Indy series. Indy was going to leave the city a few years back because of not enough support. This would be for there franchise now.

i rather not watch indy get swept, their size isn't going to bother the spurs. miami atleast has the lebron/wade factor. Both of them have proven they can take over series.

come on now most people say they want a pacers spurs finals just because they want the heat to lose. I can guarantee a Pacers/Spurs finals would be the lowest rated finals of all time

Lower than the 6.2 Rating of Spurs/Cavs?? And that series had Duncan and Lebron in it.

it was still Cleveland and San Antonio. Both "small" market teams and Lebron was still making a name for himself.

TBH

I feel even if people voted for SAS and IND, they probably wouldn't make watching the finals a priority unless they were true SAS and IND fans. You will get some general NBA fans but I know I will stop watching (or maybe watch the first and/or the potential series ending games)

As far as pure basketball SAS vs Indy takes the cake for me. Yea the Heat are fun for young kids who get excited about fast breaks and kick-out threes but basketball is more than that. I'd love to see how the Spurs offense would operate against the best defense in the league. How would they play Hibbert? Who would Indiana put on Tim Duncan? There is much more to analyze minus a Miami finals, but thats not to say that finals wouldn't be somewhat entertaining. We all know Stern is about ratings when it comes to the match-ups. He has been known to put an off-beat finals in there here and there, hopefully that's 2013!

I would rather see the Heat and Spurs...

The technically sound Spurs vs the athletic Heat. One team thrives in transition and the other thrives in the half court set.

It would be interesting to see which combination of style and talent would win?

I actually see the Pacers as sort of being similar to the Spurs? Well coached half court teams...
