First order of biz for new Raps GM Masai Ujiri: Word is he'll shop Andrea Bargnani everywhere he can in hopes of moving him before July 1

what would you trade for bargnani?

as **** as bargnani has played this season, he's had 3 productive years prior, he's not completly useless, and his deal is a 2-year contract so it isnt that horrible.

I would gladly trade bargnani for a mid first round pick if ( 20+ )

If #raptors can move Bragnani on draft night it will be better for the franchise than having a pick in this draft. 1

A trade involving Bargnani is NOT gonna be a win for Toronto and the fans know it. If by some miracle they can just ship him off for an equally ****** contract/player then im still fine with it. He gets bood every time hes on the floor which likely disrupts the team. Wonder if Charlotte would do a deal around Bargnani for Gordon

Can someone explain to me the problem with Bargs?

He's not able to do anything the Raptors have needed him to do. I'm sure on the right team that has good pieces in place, he could be effective in certain areas. Raps have a decent core now that has to play their ***** off every night to get wins and Barg isn't that kind of player.

3 Team Deal ( sign and trade)

Pacers get
Bargnani
Derozan

Clippers get:
Lowry
Granger

Raptors get:
Chris paul

Bargnani, Derozan + Lowry = chris paul. Why not? :D

The clippers would get a lot instead of paul leaving, and the pacers strengthen their bench with a big who can stretch the floor along with a proper SG who would become better defensively.

Raptors would be a playoff team, and Jonas Valancuinas would be beautiful with chris paul running the show.
you may be thinking, why the hell would chris paul want to come here, when there's dallas, houston an atlanta with cap space? Well, The clippers organization would get back a lot instead of losing him for nothing, and also, the raptors would definitly be a playoff team with chris paul and gay alone on the team. the development of Ross + Valancuinas would be evident and this team will become better as the playoffs progress. I say they can do it

Everyone needs to remember what was supposedly on the table last deadline- Boozer and Nate for Bargs and Lucas. Chicago wants out of Boozers contract. Even Booz has been mentioned as an amnesty candidate. Id look for something like Bargnani, Fields and Ross for Boozer and Hinrich. Bargnani's rebounding and defensive deficiencies would easily be masked in between Deng and Noah, plus Thibs could definitely turn Fields into a defensive rotation player. Toronto gets an overpaid but useful player in Booz plus gets the backup PG we need behind Lowry. It's a win win in my eyes.

I'm convinced the bulls' deal was never on the table. That deal smelt bad when it arrived and hung in the air like a noxious poison telling raptors fans everything they wanted to hear.....That Andrea had VALUE.

He doesn't. He has not improved since his arrival in the league in any way except offensively, and has regressed in those same areas now that he's not the featured player on offense. There is very little there to justify his huge contract, and I'm also convinced all other GMs see it that way. The only thing Bargnani brings in a trade is negative value, which is why I expect to see him amnestied. And even at that, if another team wants to pick him up for scraps so be it. I've seen enough of his game and mentality to know I need not be afraid. Bargnani will not be in the NBA for more than 2 more seasons.

Wow really bashing the guy eh? No matter what he is a valued piece....how often does a 7 footer who can shoot and stretch the floor come along????? I think he just needs to leave Toronto.....he just has to be in the right situation....he needs to play alongside a physical center like cousins/Howard/mark gasol...someone who'll make up for his flaws....yea I understand his rebounding and defense is bad but on the other end of the court he's pretty good....

For Gstate thats WAYY too much money invested in their front court:

Bogut- 14.2M
Lee- 13.8M
Bargnani- 11M
Biedrins- 9

Thats 48 mil right there and considering the fact that Bogut, Biedrins and Bargnani are all pretty injury prone, PLUS Lee is coming off hip surgery, it really is a recipe for disaster.
