Lol it's not Iike I like the pacers. I'm being truthful here based on what I've seen the first 2 games.
Miami has struggled badly defending the high pick and roll from Indiana. And they've struggled to get really good looks combine that with the pacers being 6-0 at home this postseason and things favor the pacers unless Lebron has a career game.

The Heat are 4-0 on the road this postseason as well. Pacers undefeated at home, Miami undefeated on the road. Will be a great game.

You guys do realize Wade is playing injured, right? He'll put up 20 pts at best in an "inspired" performance. Pacers wont leave Heat shooters so Lebron scores 45+ to have a chance, which he probably will since they arent doubling him. I dont know who wins though. Gonna be close the whole way.

To put the Pacers last season/this season comparison in perspective, last season pacers ranked 16th in 3pt defense. This year- #1. Yeah, I dont think heat shooters are gonna get hot anytime soon.

Heat win. I'm fairly confident that it will happen by a large margin, guys like Battier and Ray who have been off lately will come with guns ready to fire. I fully expect smaller rotations, not to mention more perimeter play from Bosh to try to lure Hibbert away from the rim. Should be chippy but like I said Heat take it by a large margin.

It seems like whenever people are ready to count Miami out they come out with an inspired performance. Plus I think there's going to be game in this series where Indy struggles to score. I wouldn't be shocked if this is the game.

I think we will see what both teams are made of in this game. The heat will bring their very best game tonight. THey always do in situations like this. I give them the edge to win.

On the other hand, the pacers know how important it is to get this game and go up in the series with this and the next game at home. If pacers can pull it off they will show they can take whatever the heat throws at them and still win the game.

Paul George is 10-13 for 29 points when guarded by LeBron James.
James is 18-of-31 for 45 points (8 turnovers) when guarded by George

I would agree with this. LeBron is going to bring it every night and that is a given. But, when LeBron drives and draws the defense to him, and passes off to the open shooters, that is when the heat are almost unbeatable. So, the outside shooters need to show up for the heat. If they do I don't see how to beat them.

Yeah, let's disregard the fact that James has to literally do everything for this team.

Wade sometimes has an advantage over his position.
James has the clear advantage.
Bosh and West this series is pretty much West kicking Bosh's butt.
Hibbert vs Andersen, obvious Hibbert.
Norris Cole/Chalmers vs Hill, pretty much even.

So all in all, James has to do everything and more for his team to win while George just has to do enough to contain James.

i don't get why some people have been saying the pacers should of won game 1. it took a missed ray allen ft and a 32 foot prayer from paul george to force overtime. both extremely lucky plays for indy. and then in ot the pacers were gifted 3 fts and lebron won it anyways.

George Hill had a terrible game, Paul George had an off game but hit 2 big shots, they were missing FTs and Hibbert was in foul trouble while Tyler wasn't in the game enough and Sam Young played way too much. That's why. Cuz Ray Allen missing is cuz of that Indy defense, Wade's issue is the Indy D, LeBron had to put a Superman cape the last 2 possessions and Bosh made one big rebound.

Miami has missed 17 free throws through the first two games because that Indy free throw defense is air ****ing tight. They're absolutely suffocating at the line.

nice try. I was referring to Ray not hitting jumpshots.

Miami missing FTs isn't a big story. They went to the line 25 times. And missed 9 shots. Ray Allen missed a big one. It happens. But the other 8, 3 were by LeBron, 3 were by Wade and 2 were between Bosh and Battier. No team goes 100% in FT shooting. Out of the 16 teams in the NBA playoffs this year the Heat rank 9th in that department. Out of the 4 remaining teams they are the worst in that department. 73% at the line to be exact. So in gm.1 they shot 64%, which means they were 2 shots off from who they were in the 2013 playoffs. A 73% FT shooting team. What's surprising is that it should have been worse since Birdman was at the line, and he's a career 64% FT shooter shooting 77% this year.

wow i thought this post was sarcastic at first. now after reading your latest one i realized you might of been serious lol. so hill and george had bad games so they should of won? the heats defense had nothing to do with that? all the heats 3pt shooters coming up flat doesn't count for miami though right? it's indy's defense lol. and miami's foul trouble with lebron and wade doesn't count either, just hibbert? and wade's issue is not the d but the knee, he showed last year that he can put up points on indy.

You asked why people think Indy should be up 2 - 0. I told you why. George Hill doesn't play that bad. Paul George doesn't play that bad. Roy Hibbert doesn't play that bad. The turnovers Indy had from their backcourt playing a disastrous game still had them w/ the lead w/ 2 secs left in the game.

Wade's knee ain't getting better, so you just pointed out reasons why Indy should be up 2-0. Indy is making you miss 3's. They are the best in the league at defending that. This is what they do. Bosh is the only one who they can't stop cuz match up wise Hibbert can't go all the way out to that 3 pt. line.

With that said there is one reason Indy loses in 6. His name is LeBron James.

Yes, because it's not statistically significant (i.e., "it's not a big story") when one team drops nearly NINE full percentage points from their season averages (or SEVEN from their playoff averages, if you prefer) at the line during the first two games of a series while the other team simultaneously shoots 3.5 percentage points ABOVE their season averages, right?

And if this discrepancy is the result of random variance (it is), we should expect a progression to the mean over the course of the series in Miami's favor, and a marked regression in Indy's case--a trend which would produce a 3.4-point swing PER GAME in Miami's favor over the course of the series.

In a series that has been decided by a TOTAL of 3 points, a 3.4 swing PER GAME in one team’s favor is decidedly significant—and this doesn't even account for the fact that Miami has been ATTEMPTING fewer free throws than its averages while, conversely, Indiana has been attempting a greater amount than their respective averages.

And btw, it’s a true testament to your “intelligence” that even your insults end up being ungrammatical inanities. "How is my balls taste?" LOL.

Heat missed ft's- 17. Pacers missed ft's- 14. Could swing either way, any game. To make that the primary argumentative basis for the outcome of the games is truly amateur. You're one of those people that ask the same question 10 different ways and hope the answer changes. Don't be that guy, its an endless comedy of errors.

wow again the difference of 2 shots. Miami is not going to progress in this area. Indy's defense is set to make your non perimeter player go to the line. The regression in FTs is cuz guys like Battier, Ray, Bosh and Chalmers aren't going to the line. Meaning chances of Miami shooting above that 75% average is very slim.

Which is why Charles is all Indy will win this if LeBron doesn't perform like Superman in 4 games.

His name is LeBron James.

all this so and so didn't play good crap works both ways is all i'm saying. and you seem 1 sided in the arguments. for instance the indy defense is the reason for the heat missing 3s. but the heat defense isn't forcing turnovers at all its slopply pacer's offense. way to many what ifs. the game boiled down to the heat having a 3 (should of been 4 but ray missed a rare ft) point lead and george made a miracle shot. no the pacer's shouldn't have won, but they could have. and i agree wade's knee isn't getting better and it's the only reason this will be a very tough series. i only corrected you saying the pacers defense is wades problem, it's not his knee is as i said.

Yes the Pacers defense is the reason why the Heat have missed so many threes. The difference is that the Pacers offense has always been sloppy. The Heat didn't change anything.

Because Hibs got fouled as **** on that.

Knicks fans are probably laughing right now, Pacers got away with everything in that series also

Stfu, you are a Miami fan you can't talk about Pacers getting away with anything. If that foul on Haslem with the and-1 was on one of your Heatypoos you'd be whining.

Hibbert is all deal for Indiana. Without him they don't stand a chance to win against Miami IMO, he gets so much attention.
