As our superstars of today age which young players are gonna step up into the leading roles?

Pg: Kyrie Irving, Damian Lillard

Sg: James Harden, Eric Gordon

Sf: Paul George, Kawhi Leonard

Pf: Serge Ibaka, Kenneth Faried

C: Demarcus Cousins, Greg Monroe

I'm not super educated on NBA so sorry if this seems ridiculous but I would love to hear who you guys think the next top players are.

George, Kyrie and Harden are the only ones there with "superstar" potential IMO.

Kyrie Irving is not going to be a superstar. He plays no defense, is injury prone and has never learned to lead a winning team. Ditto for Eric Gordon, DeMarcus Cousins. Greg Monroe is very good but he's not going to be the best big man on his own team.

I think Davis and Irving are the only ones that can reach what I think is a superstar(top 5 player in the league.) I wouldn't consider Harden a "rising" player anymore, but hell probably be up there as well. Players like George, Beal, Wall, Cousins, and Leonard will probably make multiple All Star games.

Only Irving and Harden. The rest will be stars but I'm not sold on Leonard, Ibaka, Faried or Gordon being stars. Good players yes, but not stars, and certainly not superstars.

Kawhi Leonard is nothing more then role player he is nothing without Parker/Duncan and Pops.

I also think Wall will be better then both Irving and Lillard.

Paul George, Kyrie Irving and Damian Lillard might be a Magic/Bird/Jordan type players but...that's in 4 or 5 years

Iman Shumpert actually can be a max player one day he did amazing girding George

The rest are stars but George Irving Lillard are your next gen superstars

You said Quincy Pondexter was better than Leonard right?

Yes he has a great coach, that's not his fault. I've witnessed him play a game where the starters sat out and he completely dominated. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SXemx5E9t20) Sky is the limit for him, and as long as he continues his development on the offensive side, he's going to be real special.

I really do question your ability to scout/rank players.

Paul George has ridiculous potential. Last year he was nothing more than a nice young player. And now he's suddenly bloomed into a star making the all-star game, 2nd team all-defense, 3rd team all-nba, and winning MIP. Who knows where he'll be in 4 or 5 years? Very Tmac like.

Most people aren't superstars when they're 23. The reason this thread is called "Superstars of TOMORROW is because we're not talking about people who are current superstars and I believe people like PG have potential to be that type of player.

No one says he is no one even says he's near but his potential on both sides of the floor leads you to believe that he'll be as close to becoming as any else out there.

Exactly great potential. It was sort of like T Mac before he exploded on the Magic.

George isn't yet lol.

He'll need to make some noise next year to be elevated there. But he's definitely risen and continued to rise throughout the season.

I think Irving, Lillard, Harden, and George deserve to be on this list, but the others probably do not. Cousins is the wild card. Gordon certainly would have been on this list 2-3 years ago, but now with the injuries lingering it would be tough to justify ranking him so highly. He needs to prove that he has overcome the various injuries before I will feel comfortable ranking him as a future superstar. I like Leonard, Faried, and Ibaka, but they are not superstars. They are great role players.

None if they haven't by yr3

or if espn decides to overhype a certain player and hope they have a strong enough run during the season to justify the overhype

just go back and look at the so called aging superstars, they were all SUPERSTARS rookie yr basically, or allnba caliber, and im talking about the true superstars, take over type game plus Hollywood box office appeal

The list of players are already established, some are allstars some are fringe but none standout as SUPERSTARS in my book

IRVING the closest but he cant stay healthy or get a 8th seed out EAST, so his game is on point but his impact just isn't there in my book, he's no KIDD/IVERSON when it comes to hardwood impact
